My husband and I visted his presidential library in Atlanta this summer. It's a beautiful setting and we learned so much about his life and humanitarian efforts. He is the epitome of what a human being should be. I highly recommend a visit if you are in Atlanta.

A certain former president is noticeably missing from the video posted above- not sure if he was asked, if he responded or if his message was left out, inappropriate etc. But, this might shed a little light and serves as a sharp contrast. Carter's son talked about his wish to vote for Harris. James Earl “Chip” Carter III said in an interview with The Washington Post that his father spent days watching all of the speeches from the Democratic National Convention last month that he recorded for him. “He thought Michelle Obama was the best, and he thought Kamala was great, too,” he said.
But when Chip Carter told his father that many people believe he is trying to stay alive to reach his birthday, the former president pushed back: “He said he didn’t care about that. It’s just a birthday. He said he cared about voting for Kamala Harris.” |
