I loved that show back in the day. Last night, I was looking for something to watch on Prime, and they have all six seasons of it! I started watching it and remember why I loved it so much. It's silly and fun and sort of mindless. Just what I need right now. I had such a mad crush on John Corbett. LOL

Oh my husband and I LOVED Northern Exposure.. we faithfully watched it all the time. And yes I agree, John Corbett melts me every time.
I have been looking for something new to watch while working.. this would be a good one.

I loved it and the exteriors were filmed in a small town in WA state not to far from where I grew up. It was such a fun show.

My Mother just asked me if I had heard of the new show north face where the doctor to Alaska. I was like northern exposure? Did they remake it? Nope. She just discovered it on Amazon prime. It is an easy watch, light and enjoyable.

I saw that last week and literally squealed in glee, haha. That was my favourite show when I was a child- I have tried to get DVDs and find it streaming for years, but there were weird copyright issues with the music. I'm happy that they finally sorted it! I only 4 episodes in, I'm savouring it... I was maybe 10 when I started watching it? I'm curious to see if I really shouldn't have been watching it I loved everyone in it, I wanted to live in Cicely so badly I used to write my own ten year old philosophy Chris in the Morning shows. It was a whole thing.

I loved that show when it was on, and I recently tried to watch it again. Joel the clueless NY doctor and his knowledge of NOTHING outside of a city irritated the FU&K out of me. So I couldn't do it.

We were just talking about this show the other night. It was the anniversary of when it first aired or something and we were shocked how long ago it was! We took a vacation in 1997 (I think it had recently ended) to the Seattle/Ranier/Mt St Helens area and we went to Roslyn. It was so cool to be there! I bought a t-shirt with Coffee with Chris in the AM on it. That shirt is on one of my t-shirt quilts!
Loved that show!

I did really love the quirky townspeople... sort of like the precursor to the quirky citizens of Stars Hollow.

Monday nights at 9 pm back in the 90s - I was a faithful watcher. It was kind of a perfect show.

We watched it back then and liked it. Perhaps we shall revisit and see if we still do.

Don't mean to hijack... but the show set in AK that I loved was the one with Anne Heche. I can't remember what it was called. Would love to rewatch. I just haven't Googled it yet.

I loved that show when it was airing. I knew it had come to PRIME but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. My sister, who didn't see it when it originally aired, has been watching and she loves it!

My late DH watched that when it was on, he always wanted me to watch with him but I was always too tired. He loved the show but it was on at 10:00PM, I was a young working mom with 2 young boys and always exhuasted. Dh got to sleep in later than me so he stayed up later. Anyway - I too noticed it was on prime so I watched it. I really enjoyed it, made me just a bit sad that DH isn't here for me to tell him how much I enjoyed it.

I never watched that show, it was just during a very busy part of my life when I hardly ever watched TV. I might have to do a month of prime just to see what I think of it. Thanks for that idea (I’m always looking for fun shows for the winter months). By the way, Just T, thinking of you and hoping that things are calm and moving in the right direction.

Yes! I used to watch it at night when I was in HS. I loved it so much, that at one point my Dzh but me a collectors edition. I think we finally got rid of them after I watched them all twice.

Men in trees appears to be on YouTube. I’m attempting it right now. Starting the first episode.

The writers were amazing, and the combination of actors was perfection.

I started watching it on Prime a few months ago. I loved this show as a child, maybe 10ish? I wanted to rewatch it for decades so I'm glad it's finally on Prime. I'm also watching Newhart. Nostalgia. I remember loving that show as a child, too.

Adored that show during its first run. The collective “wisdom” of the townsfolk cracked me up.

When I the series ended, one network ran the entire series. Which I taped. On VHS tapes.

Thank you, perfect timing! I need something light that can be enjoyed listening as much as watching. I didn’t see the final season or two, glad I get a second chance!
