This one completes three challenges and was incredibly fun to create to finish off CARDtober! Texture with ribbon, pressure embossing on vellum and a 3D Angel.  26n29n31OctAngel by Neva Cole, on Flickr The ribbon is a scrap that just happened to match my favorite color purple. Darice Snowflake Flurry Embossing folder. SB Art Nouveau border die and 3D Angel Ornament. Taylored Expressions Christmas Strips sentiment heat embossing in Delicata Nocturne and clear embossing powder. All mounted on a cut-to-size cardstock base that is duo toned with the lighter color on the inside. Silver and purple cardstock with some fussy cutting to create the 3D Angel. I really love this card! |

Here is my final Sketchtember Cardtober card. Thanks for the fun challenges justjac! I used some HB tropical flower dies that I bought thinking I'd use them all the time but I think this might be the first card I've actually made with them (in a couple of years). Oops. I think they go OK with the frame die I got in the round robin swap. I used fake watercolor-wash paper but added a tiny bit of watercoloring-with-ink in the plumeria centers, and I added some Tuesday Texture in the background, a new HB embossing folder I really like.
