It obviously gets them the attention they want 🤷♀️ It absolutely does. Everytime it happens people have to discuss it. To me it seems like a silly thing to be bothered by. I think at this point it is pretty obvious which threads are political. Honestly even if it isn't it is so damaging to ones psyche to enter a thread and see something political? No one makes you keep reading or makes you respond. You can leave the thread if it doesn't suit you. I would think threads involving loss, illness, murder, etc might be more upsetting to some people. I get why the labels were initially created, but I think that time has passed. And Everytime the resident troll gets bored and labels everything political people start threads about which just feeds them. |

It just annoyed me last night. I am usually in my phone, so it doesn’t matter since I can’t see the label. But last night, I get on my computer, come here, and all I see are the bright red “political” labels on the whole page! Yes, they are easy to turn off (and back on), but it was a vent and I was annoyed. Just like I am getting annoyed with all the political BS going on right now. Ok, vent. Over.

It is a member (or two or three) who has issues and likes to antagonize others.
They seem to enjoy playing the >> tag and un-tag games, and messing with the board.
I 99% sure know of one (who also has an alter ego). That person is unstable.
I am not naming names, because I can't 100% sure prove it, hence the 99% sure.
But I do know that both user names come across as unstable and off.
I no longer pay attention to the labels.
It's not worth tagging anything (especially the more than a year old threads), because someone will un-tag them, for whatever reason >> they want to control the board, they like to play games, they like to be a troll and mess with the board, they like to antagonize, they are unstable, etc...
