It’s been a month now and I can’t find it absolutely anywhere. Ugh.
So I decided I needed an upgrade anyway lol. It was an old series 2 Apple Watch. I’ve been looking at what’s available and feel like I would be just fine with an SE vs. series 9 or 10. I don’t really need the extra features.
That said, what watch do you have and do you like it?
Thanks!

I have a 6 cellular and feel no need to upgrade.
If I had to replace it tomorrow-
I would stick with a cellular version (I love not “needing” to carry my phone all the time.) But that’s just me.
I think SE 2nd generation has crash detection, fall detection and monitors for irregular heart rhythms. Those are great for anyone.
I’ve been trying to convince my mom to wear an Apple Watch for years. I quit buying them for her, because she won’t. There are so many times it would have been helpful for her, but she’s convinced it’s just “too much trouble to learn.” I keep telling her it is so simple. Once it’s set up, you literally charge it and wear it. It would have saved her hours of laying on the ground in the driveway because she can’t get herself up, and she fell at night. It would also help with simply being able to call for help, be it ems or someone else if she fell in the house etc.
I really wish she would reconsider.

Find my iPhone didn’t work? I’m assuming it’s dead. It says it will connect once it’s powered.

You know you will find it as soon as you purchase a new one, right?

You know you will find it as soon as you purchase a new one, right? Yep! Which is why I’m justifying it by concluding I was bound to upgrade anyway….. 🤣

I have an Apple Watch 9 and I cannot wear it on either arm. I have had too many broken bones and both arms end up throbbing from it even on the loosest setting. I am thinking about getting a clip on cheap pedometer.

I got a 9 for Christmas, and I love it! It's my first Apple Watch - I previously had a Fitbit, then a Garmin, and then a Samsung watch. I think you should definitely upgrade, even if you end up finding your old one. You will love it!
I'm not sure what the difference is between an SE and a 9 or 10. I would get the best one I could afford.

I have a 9 and I love it. I’m sure I don’t use it to the fullest of its ability but what features I do use I really like.

dexter have you tried to ping your watch? I am not sure if it works if the battery is dead, but you can set up the icon on your iphone to ping your watch, just like how you can ping your phone using your watch.

I have a 6 and when I upgrade, it will likely be to an SE. I bought the 6 thinking get the latest and greatest of what is available at the time. I am getting older, so I thought maybe some of the features would become something that would be helpful to me. I have had that watch for 4 years now and never have I needed the ECG or blood oxygen level. I will use this one as long as possible, but the battery life has really been dwindling over the last few months. It is tough for me to get through a whole day.

I have a series 6 and it is fine, but when it’s time to upgrade, I will definitely get whichever one has cellular service. I am bad about forgetting my phone.
