I struggle with winter. If we have unpleasant weather in the fall, the winter can feel endless. The cold doesn’t bother me as much as dealing with the mess of the snow - always having to think about what the driving conditions will be like and white knuckling it when they are bad. We have snowshoes and access to good trails. We go to hockey games. We take a trip to a warm weather location. We try to make the best of it.

I hate the cold. I'd honestly like to live somewhere that has a mild climate year round. If it exists, I can't afford it, so I deal with winter.

I'm another in San Diego that likes the May gray/June gloom in the spring and cool evenings/mornings/warm days of fall. It is not as dramatic a season change as other parts of the world, but it there is definitely a transition.
I enjoy a taste of winter. A few days/week in the snow is nice but I don't want months of it and don't need it every year.

I love spring, summer and fall. I would love winter if I didn't ever have to go anywhere - but I HATE driving in snow and ice. HATE, HATE, HATE it.

When I lived in SoCal I was very much “just give me what I like”. I hated the summers there.
Now that I’m in the PNW, I absolutely love having seasons. Nature can be so beautiful!

I do like the changing seasons. I also do get tired of some of the aspects of each season sometimes, too. Which I guess is one reason I like that they change.

I adore summer. I tolerate Spring and fall. I loathe winter.
If I lived somewhere that never went below 45 degrees on its coldest night, I'd be just fine.

As much as I despise the cold, I do like the changing seasons. I like the gradual (usually, lol) slide into the new season... the first real summer day, or the first night we can have windows opened after a cold winter, or windows opened after a hot summer... etc.
My favorite season is fall but I don't know if I'd like it as much if it was like that year-round.

I like the seasons but would prefer if it was more balanced. We have freeze toy ss off often followed by hot as hell. I prefer the in between, fall being my favorite but it seems to only last a minute or two sometimes. But in general, season change good. Less monotonous and marks time in its way

I live in a temperate climate, where we definitely have four seasons - often in one day haha!
I hate winter, and would love to live somewhere warmer. My ideal climate would be somewhere with two seasons - warm and hot. Warm season would be around 22 C and hot season would be anything above 25 C up to 40 C.
I guess I should be thankful that our winters do not include freezing temperatures and snow. 12-14 C is plenty cold enough for me!

I love spring and summer. The brightness, the renewal. Just makes me happy thinking about it. I mean think of all the birds singing and the flowers opening and the animals frolicking (ok, I’m in a Disney movie but whatever).
For years I’ve dreaded winter (the darkness and wetness in Seattle), and then by extension, hated fall because winter followed it. In the past 3-ish years I’ve started to chill a bit about worrying what follows fall and actually enjoy it, or at least the first 6 weeks of it anyhow.

I used to love spring, but the older I get, the more volatile it seems to be getting. I do love the temperatures, even though we don’t get to experience them for long.
I HATE summer now. The heat just lasts too long, and it gets old. It’s still in the low-mid 90’s here, which is just annoying.
My favorite season is fall (if it ever shows up.) although, it’s our second severe weather season.
Winter is just okay here. It gets coldish, but not too cold. The issue we have is that when we get wintery weather, it’s usually nasty ice that shuts everything down.
So, to answer your question, I’d love to live somewhere that had all four seasons that didn’t have bouts of sever weather.

I love the change from summer to fall and winter to spring. But I am not so sure about fall to winter lol. I think that I appreciate these changes more now than ever. Partly because I am outside a lot more now that we have a dog, and partly because I am just trying to appreciate those changes more as I get older.

I’m from Florida and I’m a warm weather person. Something beautiful is always in bloom here. I lived in NC and we had a few weeks of beautiful spring followed by months of brutal, baking heat. Then we had a few weeks of colorful fall leaves followed by 5 months of cold, gray, rainy weather. People would always say <<insert thick Southern drawl>> “Ah LU-U-U-V the change of the seasons!” I wanted to slap them.

There's something to love in all the seasons. Spring and early summer are my favorite times of the year. I never used to like August because it was traditionally when it was hottest here, the mosquitos were fierce, and I'd usually let the weeds take over. In recent years, you can never tell which will be the hottest month anymore, I'm better at weeding and I cover up all through mosquito season. I started growing dahlias again so they bloom best in August and September.
I also like winter because I'm one of those rare people who like to wear coats. My winter wardrobe is prettier than my summer one. I love accessorizing. It's nice to stay in, craft, stream shows and not worry about the garden or anything outdoors for awhile. We haven't had snow in at least 3 years I think so it would be nice to get a snowfall this winter.

I love the changing seasons. I spent a little less than a year in California years ago, and it was just weird not having fall/winter into spring thing. Colorado has all seasons, but I always feel like we get cheated in the spring because it snows so often into May. No flowers are planted until Memorial Day (well for me and a lot of people, but I'm sure there are some that do before) but the one time I did flowers early snow came and killed them. Then the daffodils and tulips hardly stand a chance. Spring is a crazy season in Colorado. You get three seasons in spring. As long as it isn't bitter cold, I'll take all of it. My birthday is May 20th, and we've had big snowstorms on my birthday recently. One year, our kids had a 2 hour late start for snow on the 20th and their last day of school on the 21st.

My winter wardrobe is prettier than my summer one. This! I am always a hot, sweaty disaster in the summer. Wearing as little clothing as I can get away with. I definitely don't look cute in any way, shape or form. I'd rather have a nice pair of dress pants or even jeans, with cute boots, a pretty blouse and then a cardigan. I never feel put together in the summer.

I'm a Fall girl. I was born in September and have always embraced this time of year. If I could have Fall all year round, I'd be happy. Part of the love is the changing of the leaves, when the trees put on their beautiful gowns of reds, oranges, yellow etc. I wish it could be like that year round!

I like the changing of seasons but also I don't need drama. I live in Southern California so our seasons are mild. I'm happy to visit the snow, I don't need it coming to me. With the mountains nearby, it's always doable to get a good dose of seasonality without traveling too far.

I like the idea of 4 seasons but being from Texas I haven't really ever experienced it. Used to be more than we do now. I love being in the pool but I hate the summers now. They are SO hot and SO long. Spring is nice but it's also severe weather season. We had a tornado this year in May. But the temps are usually really nice. Until it gets hot again too early. Fall is nice but it seems like it lasts about a day. My part of Texas does get very cold temps, ice and snow but not consistently. It can be freezing and snowing one day and 80 the next. We usually have one or two very cold and snowy snaps with hot days in between. I hate being cold so I would never live anywhere with harsh winters. But man, these summers are getting hard to take the older I get.

I hate Winter, the dark nights are not good for my mental health at all, I really struggle until I can see the first signs of Spring then I'm as happy as Larry until Autumn starts to draw in again.
That was exactly how I felt until I moved south and no longer have to deal with the months long ice and cold and snow. It's been a real boon to my health. I know that's not an option for you necessarily but, I totally get what you're saying.

I love when we have great color. I have not been able to get really any good pictures this year but have certainly seen so many beautiful areas and views. Thankful to live in a beautiful state, especially this time of year. Unfortunately the colors in the mountains are peak and going down the other side. It is still beautiful in the valleys but is getting at/close to peak…so, sadly for another year, it will be over soon. This is one of the few with actual tree color (I’ve been more into sunsets lately) that I have taken and it is at our camp. Which was not so pretty, but still pretty this year. Not all falls are alike. 😄

I feel like Fall is the shortest season of the year, but that's just because the leaves drop and then it's just gray and blah until snow hits. And if you don't hit it just right, you miss all the beauty. I am not sure how to share a photo.

Thanks for the photo love. Yesterday I had to travel about a bit and took some great foliage roads and it was absolutely beautiful. We had some sun and clouds, I always think that the colors are much more brilliant and popping when there isn’t full sun. Couldn’t really take any pictures but the beauty all around me was enough to fill me…heart and soul. The end is quickly approaching so I am getting as much of the colors as I can and I hope you are also!

I wish I could love summer, but I just don't. The heat, the humidity, the BUGS! I like spring but everything is usually muddy until the trees start budding and everything starts getting green again. Winter...I have a love/hate relationship. I like it when the snow first comes down and turns everything into a winter wonderland. That gets old real fast! Fall, its my time.

I like the four seasons, but long deeply cold and messy winters are taxing. Perfect for me:
3 months mild to moderate summer 1 month deep summer 2 months mild winter 1.5 months deep winter 1.5 months spring (mixed weather) 3 months moderate Fall
I have a hockey kid, so I want winter for him and I do like the coziness and the beauty, but six weeks of "real" winter weather is my limit preference. I am over it the other three months (most years) Then just mild winter temps with some light non threatening snow for a couple of more months---sounds about right.
Same with summer. Summers in Mn are wonderful, but about a month of heat is good. I would love an occasional scorcher but keeping it between 74-84 with no humidity would be summer perfection for me.

I used to be all about summer and always wanted to live at the beach. Now I don't do so well in the heat and I wouldn't want to put up with hurricanes. (However, if I did win the lottery there would probably be a beach house.) I do enjoy fall and all that it brings and spring is always joyous. BUT.I.HATE.WINTER! Christmas makes it bearable but I hate the cold, I loathe the snow. Good thing I work from home so I can sit here and sulk.
