When do the yearly themes come out usually? Like Simple Stories always has a year collection? Are there any other companies that usually do a theme like that?
Also! I really like having a month title embellishment. My favorites have been from Studio Calico - the painted wood veneer and the 3” puffy circles. Another year I bought Elle’s Studio white puffy alpha stickers of all the months.
I prefer when it’s an embellishment I can place over a card or photo, not just a printed journal card with the name in it that fills the whole pocket. If anyone has any ideas or sees something, please share!

I didn't do PL this year, and I've missed it. So I am jumping back in for 2025. I have no clue when other brands usually put their PL stuff out. Im guessing December? I have saved 1 years worth of AE Stories By The Month to use for 2025, so that's my plan. In the past, I have bought Paislee Press months word art and cut them out on my silhouette. Then each month I would put the month over a photo.

I think we should start seeing next month. I used Elle’s Studio in the past and am currently using Hip Kits. I will say I love HK because they offer 12x12 pp, but I don’t find myself using the cs embellishments, just not my style.
I’ll be looking at AE and Freckled Fawn, too.

Echo Park does them, too. I've seen some of theirs included in their online "warehouse" sales. ( link).

Didn’t color cast designs have some monthly words last year?

I'm canceling my AE SBTM and Elle's Studio kits at the end of this year. I have tons of leftovers from this year's SBTM and all my 2024 ES unused kits. My plan is to use what I have and supplement with my stash. I have so much that I'm good for a few years.

I subbed AE SBTM this year after skipping last year. I have done probably 15-20% of the year - not great. I will finish this year's sub and plan to use up most of it on 2024 since I already started it and it has a consistent look/feel. I am not sure about 2025. I am now an empty nester so life looks different. I have so many travel, WITL, etc albums not done and past years not done I just need to give this some detailed thought. And, depending on what changes they make for SBTM for 2025, that may change how I feel. I do like the price point for SBTM and I like that they added lessons in the classroom - I think I will go back and use those for inspo. Just not sure what I would want out of PL 2025.

I’m going to do what I did this year as I’ve enjoyed it- I have a 12x12 album and use one half of the full spread (so one 12x12 page protector) for each week. I liked this as the whole year fits into a one album which is important to me and since the real estate is a little smaller I have to be more selective and creative. I like the challenge. I get AE SBTM but that is not all I use. I like to mix it up. I would say each month two of the spreads/weeks are SBTM but they look different from each other as I “shop the kit” by color scheme. For a third week, I will pick just a couple of the SBTM items and then supplement the rest with random things from my stash. This might be my favorite week to do because I love the challenge of making a cohesive page with my stash from the jumping off point. This page usually looks nothing like the other SBTM pages either. Then week four and five if there is a fifth week, are usually story kits and/or other stash items. There is enough SBTM product that I could just use that but that would be boring for me. I just merge the remaining pieces into my stash.

I said I was going to do PL for the past few years, and it never happened. However, DH and I are both turning 35 next year, so I've been scouting ideas on Instagram. Always happy to follow more peas if you want to send along your usernames!

This is the 3rd year doing a photo a day album in the PL app. I keep it super simple, a standard format for each month, although I do switch it up each year.
This year my daily pages is the one with all vertical 3x4 pockets. I do 5 days on each page, 5 photos, 5 journaling cars - this year I'm using the click kit's days of the week cards and adding the date with an overlay- and 2 filler cards.
I'm addition to my daily pages I have a monthly full photo title page and 2 "currently" pages where I include books I've read, memes, news, shows I've watched etc.
I also made a 2 page spread for the Olympics and will probably do another one for the election.
I've been successful with it cuz if I get behind it is pretty easy to keep up. And I can do it from my phone.
I don't print from home so that's a big hurdle for me to physically scrapping something so timely.

So with SC's announcement today, I have ZERO idea what I'm going to do with Project Life. So dumb. I may use my stash to get me through the summer of 2025, then switch to just story type documenting in 6x8 albums. With all 3 kids in college I don't know that I need a bigger album to document weekly stuff.

My original plan had been to switch from a 12x12 size pocket page album down to a 9x12 size pocket page album.
But I'm now feeling drawn towards using a bound notebook format. I know that Heba Alsibai and Nancy Damiano each have their own version of a spiral bound scrapbook with templates printed on each page. I am really loving the look of this format, but it's just too expensive to purchase their products for me in Australia so I have an idea to create something similar, but not quite the same, to use for my 2025 Project Life documenting.

Nancy Damiano has a few flip throughs on her YouTube channel of completed spreads and/or notebooks. And I know Heba has quite a few process videos of her notebooks on her channel. For me it's similar to the pocket page format which I really like, but in smaller, more flexible and more compact format. I don't really like the grey background, I prefer white. So I've got some ideas formulating in my head about how to adapt it to suit my style.

I should stash bust for a year but that’s no fun.
I’m going to wait to see what if any changes there are to AE’s SBTM kit. I am strongly leaning toward subbing to Elles Studio for a year. I also really like a lot of elements from their Daily collection for PL.

I'm sticking with my Happy Planner as a memory planner for now. I'll see if I move out of there and into an actual album eventually but so far, so good. I'm happy with adding extra photos by punching some page protectors so they fit. It's a great way to journal a little every day and use my stamps as often as possible.

I have created my own with a variety of sources over the years. From just creating my own cards to using Elle’s Studio. I think next year I’m going to go to Hip Kit. I current get their 12 x 12 kit and Elle’s studio but will cancel Elle’s studio and move to just the pocket pages for Hip Kit. I like their variety and can add on other things at a discount if I want/need more. The only down side is their embellishments in the PL kit aren’t die cut anymore. So it’s a bit more of an upfront investment that isn’t useful outside of Hk.
