I was really hoping I'd like their yearly collection this year, but I'm not a huge fan of the retro imagery or fonts or the off-white base. There's a couple of pieces I may end up adding to my cart but I won't be using this as the base for my album next year.
There's some b sides I like from across the other collections that I might pick up but I'm happy to pass on most of these.

I like the colors in all of the scrapbook collections, though I don't like enough of the patterns in most of them to buy full collections. I will likely pick and choose some papers between them.
The one I'm most excited about is the Simple Vintage Fresh Snow one, because I am always looking for greens, browns, and blues. Some of them are obviously winter themed, so that cuts down on their versatility, so I may still cherry pick this collection, too.

For the Record is the only one I would consider, and I really don't need it. That said, I do like it (minus some of the very retro imagery). I could easily see myself using some of this as the base for my PL life next year, but I need to motivate myself to get back on the PL bandwagon. This year, I am six months behind.
I have the last couple winter collections that are more "whimsical" and I think they suit the photos I take better.
While I like bits and pieces of the other two, they are themes/styles I have enough of.

For The Record - I like a few things from this, but maybe not enough to worry about buying it. Really reminds me of the office collection from OA. I think that was one of the last ones they did. I still have a bunch of that laying around I should use. I kinda like the papers with the months and journal spaces on them. They would be usable. Front Porch - A little too vintage and country cottage style for my tastes. Heartstrings - Definite no Simple Vintage Fresh Snow - I like a lot of this. Very pretty. But...not really something that works with my winter photos. I live in Northern Iowa, and pictures I take in the winter tend to have bright white snow, bright blue skies, and maybe a little brown. Definitely not much green. And those bright colored photos don't really work with such muted tones. In my opinion anyway. 12-Month Calendar Kit - Nice, but not something I need or use.
Thanks for sharing!

For The Record: I have an irrational hatred of those peachy pink flowers Simple Stories keeps using (I have a ton still from In Bloom) and they are on several items and the Makes Me Smile paper, but I do love office supplies, and daily life stuff...
Front Porch: not really excited about this one
Heartstrings: meh, except a few b-sides.
Simple Vintage Fresh Snow: not really calling to me
12-Month Calendar Kit: I don't usually even look at calendar kits, but I have been doing monthly "recap" spreads in my albums, and I like the months on this better than the 12 by 12 sticker sheet in For the Record but I don't really need a whole kit though, just the stickers, and it doesn't look like I can buy them separately.

At some point, Simple Stories was my favorite scrapbooking company. I bought almost all of the collections one year. I am disappointed with the release this year. It's good that I don't need anything.

I like the front porch. I would love a home theme that isn’t farmhouse kitchen. My home is more modern and the farmhouse doesn’t work for me. I’d love to have a collection to record my home and the things we do here

I do like "for the record" this year, better than last year, and it will probably join my stash.
I think "fresh snow" is beautiful, but it's not my vibe. Front porch is not my aesthetic either.
Heartstrings is nicer than I expected. I usually steer clear of valentinesy stuff, but this has a broader appeal.
The calendar: how big do we think that calendar is? I always make my MIL a calendar for Christmas, 8x8" size. It started with the lovely BG kit calendars, but after those went away I had to create one every year from scratch, so this is appealing *if* it's not 12x12!

Note ACOT (see new links in the OP) provides more detail. However, it appears the dimensions of the actual bound calendar is nowhere in the description or images of this product! This is a pet peeve; IMHO there is no excuse for brands to omit basic information from its product descriptions/packaging.

I might be in the minority, but I'm happy to see that Simple Stories seems to be moving away from the retro/ boho mustard yellow/ pink & teal collections like just Beachy, true colors, Noteworthy, What's cooking, retro summer, flea market, trail mix etc.
I love the Fresh Snow collection. Can't wait to create with it when it's available!
I like For the Record and Front Porch, I will probably pick up some pieces of both.

Fresh Snow is the only one I even gave more than a glance too. I've added several things from that collection to my ACOT wishlist.

I absolutely love Front Porch! It reminds me of October Afternoon’s Farmhouse (I think it was called) collection.

Like the colourway of fresh snow but as it NEVER snows where I live I might just pick up the plain paper

For the Record has biiiig OA 9-5 vibes - a couple individual papers I kind of like, but not enough to bother with. Front Porch colors are not for me. Heartstrings and Fresh Snow, I didn't even open anything in a new tab to look closer. My wallet has been marked safe from this drop, but as always thanks for posting!

I find the off-white background an odd choice for a yearly collection, since off-whites are often inconsistent within each & across all SS collections.

I like the colors in all of the scrapbook collections, though I don't like enough of the patterns ... Frustratingly, I can relate: like the colors but not the patterns (e.g. wonky stripes, handdrawn illustrations, floating icons) OR like the patterns but not the color palette (looking at you odd yellows!).

I love For the Record and some fell into my cart, oops!
I also love Simple Vintage Fresh Snow, but I have more than a lifetime worth of winter papers, so it's a no.

I like Simple Stories collections, for the most part. I think their collections are always so much better than Echo Park's.
For The Record - This is nice. I don't do project life type scrapping but I can see how this would be useful. I do like the stickers that have all of the months on them. Front Porch - This is not my aesthetic at all (country, muted), but it is pretty. I really, really love the birds, for some reason. I need an excuse to use those birds. Heartstrings - I am a sucker for pink, red, and orange together. I don't need this theme but I'll buy a couple papers to mix in with last year's collection. Simple Vintage Fresh Snow - This is really pretty. I love Simple Vintage. I don't need all of it but there are papers there that are must-haves, particularly the cut apart papers. I am also a sucker for deer, so the deer stuff is definitely going into my collection. I need snow paper less and less because of darn climate change, but the foliage and pine cones and stuff would be good for Christmas pages. I like the blue.

For The Record - ... Really reminds me of the office collection from OA. ... Same, except with more florals (e.g. sprouting from typewriters, on bulldog clips)

Like several of you all have said: A definite OA feel to "For the Record" and somewhat in "Front Porch". I do like both of those. "Heartstrings" is a pass for me, except maybe for the "Wink,Wink" pp. "Fresh Snow" is beautiful; love the pine cones. But it might be a little too dark for me. And I have no need for the memory calendar kit. Thanks for showing us PaperAngel.

For the Record looks like old SS I already have. Front Porch looks an awful lot like the gnome paper they had several years ago (super cute though). Heartstrings is everything that makes me think "ew." The Fresh Snow is my winter. Love everything about it. It is deer "get it on" season here and the bucks have been strutting their stuff. The 80 degree temperatures are ruining the vibe though. No use for the calendar.

It's good that I don't need anything. Simple Stories is still one of my favorites, although I always pick & choose patterned papers & stencils from a variety of collections. Looking forward to the next reveal/release (& hoping it'll include collections that you love & can purchase with this year's savings)!

For the Record - I love the camera washi tape and I'm considering the stamp set. The rest of it is meh and if we could please walk away for using HELLO, that would be great. Front Porch - I feel like I've seen this with a slightly different color palette. Heartstrings - I like a lot of it. Do I need any? No. Will I order some? Perhaps. Fresh Snow - It's pretty but I don't think I could get much use out of it but I'm thinking about it. I particularly love First Snow Paper with all the layers. Thanks PaperAngel
