Thanks, everyone. After lots of ice packs, T.E.N.S. unit, and meds, I'm feeling sooo much better.
Was watching a show earlier that made me miss my Dad sooo much, then yesterday, I was missing
my sweet nephew so much. No WONDER the headaches started again---it's the damn crying!
Marina ....So good to "see" ya!
I hope your reaction to the vaccines isn't too severe. So glad your
family is okay after a tornado, do they live near Tampa?
On a much lighter note---Is your puppers asking you
to get him a Halloween costume this year?
bc2ca ....omg, your joke about flossing dog's teeth went RIGHT over my head!
I was actually venting to DH last night what I wish we'd known....BUT....we also agreed that it would probably
be imposs-BULL to floss any of our doggies' toofies!
I was also thinking how paw-some it would be if your DH invented a doggie water-pik, and wondered
if Beatrice would at LEAST let us do that. But didn't realize at the time
that dogs don't have the ability to NOT swallow like we do. I guess I was in such a somber mood
when I read it, the joke went compleeetely over my head.
I got special beef-flavored toothpaste when Meaty was just a pupp....but he got wayyy
too upset. I tried again later with him, and then Sophie, at different times in their
lives....but.....nope! Always blamed myself that I didn't try hard enough, but really---
who wants to stress their doggies out THAT much? The nail trims were/ are traumatizing
enought for them.
Our first adopted pug (sweet "Little Guy" as DH named him) had horrific teeth problems and had
to get several pulled. I would love to be able to brush Beatrice's toofies, and did try once---but
she gets sooo freaked out, I hated to stress her out so much.
