Now the mountain man is choosing the people to vote for? It is almost like the network does not want the 'villain' voted off! I think the mountain has tried to get them to vote off the slow players before- think about what happened with Bo (twice!). These people clearly don't get it, so they had to have their hand forced. I wonder if they are also Traitors fan - I've heard the faithfuls sometimes keep a known traitor in the game to prevent from someone else being recruited as a traitor/to have an easy person to eliminate at the end to win it all. Dennis is a known enemy, while I think BeckyLee is running under the radar. I like her less and less each week. I really wish they did secret ballots, because I think some of the votes would have been vastly different. It's like middle school with these public votes and fear of going against the popular kids. |

This week they had another jaw dropping challenge. They had to cross a huge gorge on two parallel ropes on their feet/knees/shins while holding on to two higher parallel ropes. Those ropes were so shaky, I'm surprised everyone made it. They had some huge containers dropped by the Mountain Watcher. I guess they couldn't set up the checkpoint so there was food in the containers but they were heavy. Beckylee and two other people volunteered to carry them on their backs while Dusty, Dennis & Nick carried their packs. 3 people carried nothing extra. The checkpoint was on a beautiful lake that evidently they will have to get across next week. The vote was between Dennis and Jennye (cat lady) and she was sent home by a vote of 5-4. Her knee was pretty bad but she made it to every checkpoint without complaining. Dennis continues to be a horrible person.

Dennis is a horrible person - part of me wonders if he is using this as an audition for House of Villains or Traitors!
I think they made the right choice getting rid of Jennye though. Her knee problems are only going to get worse. She was risking permanent damage to it, and they would have taken a big risk of her getting medically evacuated if they had kept her.
I wonder what the fallout between Nick and Amy will be next week. Amy has gotten lucky they keep dragging her along.
I know a lot of them are into keeping people with good vibes, but they've got less than a week left. Surely you'd want to keep the people that can get up the mountain to earn the money. 🤷‍♀️

Seems like only 2 or 3 people will make it to the Summit. They aren't following the strategy that you need to keep the fastest people to get there on time. |

What’s so weird about Dennis is that he’s playing a villain in a show that doesn’t need a villain. 🤷‍♀️ but he does make me laugh bc it’s so out of place.
I was surprised the elimination wasn’t between the 3 who didn’t carry the extra weight.

It's like they are beating them over the head with the rules, but they just don't get it. 🤣 |

I quit watching because I didn't like the mean spirited voting others off.
I don't like that type of backstabbing "strategy". Too bad because I like the challenges.

But last week he gave them no choice. Dusty (the leader of the group) or Patti (the one who always fell behind.) He could have just said that they could only vote for the 3 who didn't carry extra weight. |

I think there are a total of 9 checkpoints, They've made it to 6 checkpoint eliminations so far, but they missed the first one. That means there are maybe 2 more eliminations, so 6 people make it to the top? |

Glad to see Dennis go. It’s kind of wild to me they’ve kept Amy. The threat of not making good time is clearly just for drama's sake as they keep making it even though she’s slow.
I feel like a twist is coming near the end- I don’t feel like they are going to let as many people split the money as the remaining people think.

I think they made an emotional mistake. felt good to get dennis off.. but amy will not be good on glacier travel. at all. she will be slow and balance is even more important and tricky on snow.. esp old snow. jeannie would be the. next after that.
and the altitude will also affect her.. though it can get anyone at any time.
