DH has been wearing a mouth guard at night for several years. He was clenching hard while sleeping and it was grinding his teeth down. He's pretty particular. However, the one he prefers he seems to be going through them almost every 2 months. I have ordered 3 since Feb. One was in Feb, one in June and then again late Aug. He actually didn't mold that one until just a few weeks ago. He just told me he needs another one.
So, any peas have a good quality one they can recommend? Here is a link to the one he prefers (shape and all) - Mouth Guard

The one you linked is the one I’ve used. I tried another, less expensive, brand that was awful. Sorry, I don’t have any other recommendations.

On sale buy a few. But I would suggest you contact the company for advice for making them last longer... A a discount to buy more together to save some dollars...

Our bite guards were made by our dentist. Everything is measured and checked to be sure the fit is correct and adjustments can be made when needed.

I breathe through my mouth at night, and my dentist referred me to an orthodontist who specializes in sleep medicine - he made me the best one I have ever had. It is expensive but insurance paid for most of it. You might check with your dentist and see what they recommend

Our bite guards were made by our dentist. Everything is measured and checked to be sure the fit is correct and adjustments can be made when needed. Same for me. Mine are by Invisalign and they are clear, but are custom molded to my teeth. I've had mine for almost a year and they are still just fine. If he is going through bite guards that quickly, he needs to see a dentist and see if something else is going on. While it is expensive, it will pay off in the long run if he has a pair custom made.

My DH uses the one you linked. They last awhile. Not sure how long but longer than a couple of months. My dentist wanted me to get one made by them. It was going to be pretty expensive and I knew I would never use it since I'm a gagger. No way I could sleep with that in my mouth.

Definitely ask his dentist for one. He has a good reason for getting one thru the dentist, so insurance should pay for most of it. I am a teeth grinder at night too, and the one from the dentist has lasted me several years. I do have a hole in it now so time to get a new one.

He needs a custom hard acrylic one from the dentist. ESPECIALLY if he is wearing through them so quickly. Often OTC bite guards exacerbate the problem rather than putting the TMJ in the correct position to not brux

Both DH and I use ones made by our respective dentists, and have had adjustments made by said dentists....I have been using one for 40 years and have only replaced it once. Yes, they are pricey however worth the $$$

I chewed through my fancy, expensive mouth guard due to TMJ. The guy that made my guard also recommended I see a chiropractor that does work on TMJ. That is where I got my relief. I go once a month, and no longer bother with guards at all. Its been many years now.
The chiropractor reaches into my mouth way back behind my back teeth to stretch that jaw area, and then on the outside of my face in the same place he stretches that area. Not going to lie, the first few times, tears rolled down my cheeks in the process, because it hurts. After the third time, it was loose enough that I stopped crying. I go once a month and that keeps my jaw from hurting and I'm not clenching in my sleep.
This year has been pretty rough for me, and I missed several of my monthly chiro appointments in a row. When I got back in, I did cry again at the first appointment back.

Have a dentist or orthodontist make one. It will cost a few hundred dollars. My last one was about $700. Medical insurance actually paid for most of this one - a first as I've worn guards for over 25 years. I was replacing one that was 15 years old. Not only will a professionally made one last longer, but your DH will have less risk of damaging his bite or making TMJ worse by wearing a soft guard. Just stay away from an NTI - that is a guard that fits the front teeth only. One of those ruined my bite.

My first one was made by a dentist and it was really short. Like it only covered my front/top 6 teeth, but it did the job. It lasted a couple of years. When I asked for a replacement, they said it was $500 and my insurance doesn’t cover it. The dentist recommended that I just get one from a pharmacy. I tried a few different ones I do like the version you posted. But, I like the shorter length that doesn’t cover all my teeth. After I mold it, I cut off the ends, so that it doesn’t cover all of my top teeth. It still does the job, and lasts about a year.

Get a custom-made one from the dentist. It will fit right and last for years.

Another vote for custom made by a dentist.
