Many seem to love them. Am I alone that I think they look cheap? I see so many able to use them in embellishment clusters but everytime I look at a package, I end up putting them back because they just look cheap to me. Am I missing out of something great that I just don’t see?

Yeah, mostly they look like children's stickers to me. I guess I am not talented enough to make them look good. Although I have purchased a few packs in the past and now I am stuck with them, so I do try to use them.

it depends for me. I like them when they are solid-colored alpha letters (cocoa daisy puffy letters) or words/shapes (hearts, stars) with no white outline. I don't like the ones with the white outline around a printed image (not a true white), and I don't like when they are too small or too cutesy. So yeah, I rarely buy puffy stickers 😂 as they usually have a white outline. I feel the same for die cuts actually..

It really depends on the design and use. I never really liked puffy stickers all that much as a kid because they inevitably split and separated into pieces, ruining the sticker.

You're not alone nicolecardella. It's not that I think they look cheap; I like the looks of lots of them, esp.alphas, but there's just something about the feel of them. Same thing with some of the felt embellishments from years ago. It's a tactile thing.

I very rarely like a puffy sticker. Most of them seem very juvenile.
I especially dislike tiny puffy stickers, they end up looking like lumpy sticker sneeze.

I like solid colored puffy stickers. They remind me a lot of shaped enamel dots. I use them on tags or cards to add a little pop of dimension. Anything can look like sticker sneeze when over done. Even card stock stickers.
There really isn't a difference...they just stick up off the paper.

I never really liked puffy stickers all that much as a kid because they inevitably split and separated into pieces, ruining the sticker. Absolutely this. And this is probably a big reason why I have never purchased puffy stickers as an adult---fear they will split, plus, as mentioned earlier, they do remind me of something from children because that's the only time I owned puffy stickers--as a child. I guess it would be like putting scratch & sniff stickers in my scrapbook to me. Might be great for a page about being 8 or 9 years old, but that's the only place I could see myself using them. I am glad, however, that they are bringing happiness and creativity to others.

I use them all the time and haven't had any split on me yet. I can see how people think they look juvenile, but I think they're fun. It's just a style preference, like I don't like the grungy or vintage styles (looking at you Tim Holtz and 49 & Market) but I definitely try not to yuck someone's yum. Use what makes you happy and puffy stickers make me happy.

I love puffy alphabet stickers. I'm not a fan of icon stickers that have the white rim, but I like them if they don't. They are usually really tiny, though, so they only really work for embellishment clusters.
I just hate epoxy so much that I appreciate there is another choice.

I like puffy alphas. Especially the small ones..I’m talking the designs that coordinate with a paper line. Yea..the white around the design looks cheap and they are TINY

Use what makes you happy and puffy stickers make me happy. That is interesting that you see 49 and Market as vintage. I am not a vintage fan and see them as more "realistic nature" papers. Funny how we all see something so different. Now Tim, yeah he's vintage and or grungy. Love what he can do, but I just never do those things. I have puffy stickers, but am more likely to use ephemera bits. I also don't like yucking anyone's yum. Not opposed to people posting what they don't like, but for me, a well made/designed layout can have everything I don't like or use and it can still look good. I am not a fan of girly and pink, but man, people do such beautiful things with those themes.

I struggle to use puffy stickers and no longer buy them. I prefer papery things in general, and would pick a different type of small confetti embellishment most of the time.

I like puffy stickers. They are very nostalgic for me, so big soft spot for sure. I’ve never thought of them as looking cheap! I do struggle with flat paper stickers, those always look cheap to me.

I do not use puffy stickers. They aren’t my aesthetic.

Now that you mention it I do have some puffy stickers. They mostly came in various mystery boxes. I do like some of the Pink Fresh ones and have only used a few. But I probably wouldn’t buy any more.

I'm really trying to focus on reducing the amount of dimension in my layouts / projects these days. So in the absence of layers of dimension to keep things visually interesting, I try to incorporate lots of different textures in the elements I use. In that regard, puffy stickers are very useful and an absolutely essential in my stash - because they are quite different to the variety of paper based embellishments that are typically available. But, each to their own! I'm sure there are things that other people love that I don't find myself wanting to use

I really like the tiny puffy stickers, especially in pocket pages. I agree the ones with white borders can look cheap and they aren't my favourite style, but I think there are plenty of cute puffy stickers that don't look cheap.

I love them! I especially love the puffy hearts from Doodlebug whenever a layout or a card needs a little something extra. I also like the expression about not "yucking on someone's yum." I'll try to remember that!

I don't really like them with a few exceptions. I love a good basic heart or star. I will use them in a collage grouping otherwise I find they just don't really work for me. And they smell terrible. Why do they smell?

And they smell terrible. Why do they smell? Plasticizers and adhesives. They're volatile materials and thus more likely to off-gas.

LOL...I love puffy stickers, and it is all about the nostalgia for me. I agree with those who said that the ones without the white outline are much, much better. There is something about the plastic smell and the crinkle of the particular background they come on that take me back to my childhood. Puffies were always very treasured items in my sticker book.

I love puffy stickers but I feel like most are overpriced.
