Ducks were a thing when I went on a cruise a few years ago. We brought a bunch and hid them (well the kids did, the adults didn't). It's a thing.
I probably would have just avoided him. lol..
Now I follow Capitan Kate on TT.. I LOVE her... she is one smart cookie and beautiful to boot. She has never mentioned ducks being a problem. In fact, the crew has their own collection of ducks that the cruisers have given them.

I would be tempted to run around his table and say >> duck duck goose, then run off. I think you mean duck, duck, grey duck! I have never heard of "duck, duck, grey duck". What is that in reference to? How is that game played? As a child , I played a game called >> duck, duck, goose.

Well, how much have I had to drink? That definitely shapes my answer! I would be the type to ask WHERE DID YOU GET THEM DID YOU FIND THEM CAN I HAVE ONE CAN I HAVE THAT ONE LET'S BE FRIENDS AND GO HIDE THEM OR GO LOOKING FOR MORE
Or, shyer sober me just goes on about the rest of my day.
But I wouldn't assume that was the only tip he gave, probably it was just a fun little gift

Just like the Jeep thing, it's becoming a thing elsewhere. I know that at cheer competitions it's becoming a thing. Used to be leaving a decorated clothes pin on someone's bag was a thing. Now they are moving on to the ducks. Just something fun.

I would definitely say something if I were seated at the bar. Otherwise probably not.
Did you mention that 2 of the women are single- because they might be interested in him?

Today he came to the bar with turtles decorating hi shirt, turtle earrings (dangle) and made a semicircle of turtles around his drink.
I think the man is really working hard to get attention.

Ducks are definitely a thing. I took 60ish on a cruise last month to leave in random places, and several people gave me ducks. My question would be whether he was paying with "cash" or whether he was using a drink package. Not all cruise lines are the same, but I imagine most include the tip automatically with the drink package. We did tip extra for drinks that took a lot of work, but we didn't if a bartender was grabbing us a beer or soda.
