Omg I can't believe it has been 4 years. That is absolutely ridiculous that he has drug it on this long. One would think he would have been eager to move on with skank. How is she not seeing all the red flags?

It sounds like you are going to have a lovely Christmas. The lake house sounds like a dream! I'm excited about your Meals on Wheels opportunity! I adore Meals on Wheels! My dad has been receiving the meals and the volunteers are amazing!! They knock on his door, wait for him to answer, visit with him, ask if he needs anything and give him his meal. If he doesn't answer the door for some reason, they leave the meal on his porch and call his emergency contact (me) to let me know he didn't answer. That alone is worth more than the food. We pay $5.25 per day and the "power of a knock" is SO worth it!! I hope you have a great experience.

I so happy for you that you have a place to decompress, get some privacy and enjoy Christmas. Your condo sounds lovely! I hope after all this time and all the heartache, December 16th brings you everything you deserve plus some. I also hope she decides to google him (maybe just looking up a marathon result) and sees the divorce info and leaves him. It would be great karma if he ended up with NOTHING!  |

Wow, you are getting so close. I know it has been a really long, awful journey, however that light at the end of the tunnel is finally getting bigger and brighter.
I love your holiday plans, it sounds like the perfect place to spend the holidays and celebrate a new baby.
Wishing you a peaceful mind as you come down the final stretch towards freedom that mediation will bring next week. And don't forget that you can excuse yourself from the mediation at anytime. You are there voluntarily.

You all are so wonderful. Thank you for all the support you have offered me over the years.
It's so strange, but as I know the divorce is drawing to a close (FINALLY, THANKFULLY!) I find myself so down in the dumps these days. It's ridiculous really. I do not in any way miss him, I am not going to miss anything about him when this over. I feel like I have been in survival mode for so long, worrying about money, hearings, etc, that now, when I should be feeling nothing but relief, I find myself wanting to curl up in bed and do nothing at all. I hate that winter is coming up, because I have a hard time with winter anyway.
I know I'll be fine, but things are rough right now.
