I'm sure this is annoying as there have been several threads... but I've read through them on the Help/Admin page.
I have uploaded my photos to Flickr.
I have clicked on the photo and copied the URL.
I come back here, create a reply and click the picture button.
I get the "Insert Image". I put the link in the Image URL.
Then add Alt Text to describe the photo.
Then Insert Image.
I only see a question mark where the photo should be.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've read the direction from the PB Board help page 4x!

Does your link starting with http:// or https://?
Did you try to post directly into the text and not use the Insert Image button?

These instructions (in the first pinned post in the Card Sharing thread) are what I use:
If you need instructions on how to post photos here, there are EASY instructions here:
These instructions are made using my laptop. If you're using a phone, the location of these choices on your screen may be in different places.
1. Make yourself an account at PostImages
2. click on UPLOAD (upper right)
3. In the middle of the screen, click on DO NOT RESIZE MY IMAGE and select "for message boards" from the drop down menu
4. In the middle of the screen click on UPLOAD IMAGES to select which images you you want to upload from your device (phone, computer, tablet, etc)
VOILA: your images are now in your MY IMAGES on postimages.
Now, to then bring the image into a thread here <------ its super easy, I promise!
1. Navigate to MY IMAGES (upper right) in PostImages
2. click into your GALLERY and then click on the image you want to post.
3. Once into the selected photo, click on SHARE
4. Copy the url for HOTLINKS FOR FORUMS
5. Paste the url into the BODY of a post (you don't need to click on anything over here on proboards)
BOOM! Your photo is here. See, told ya it was easy

!. Make sure that when you hit the share arrow on Flickr that BBcode is selected in the pop up pane.
2. No need to use the Insert Image button for pic's from Flickr. Just hit control V, or right click and select Paste. The address will appear in your message pane. When you hit Create Post, the photo will download imediately.

Just throwing it out there that I use post images but don't even have an account there. So you can do it without an account.

And I'm coming in to add the caveat that sometimes even with an account, PostImages gets "hiccupy". I came in to post my CARDtober challenge early this morning and it blue question marked my photo, though the one I posted last night was fine. It has since come to its senses, but it can be annoying....
