Does anyone have a small compact printer they take to crops? Not for pics, but for journaling. Would like recommendations.

I have the Epson PM 400 and use it for journaling. You can print on photo paper or just on regular cardstock that’s been cut to size. It says you can print up for 5*7, but I routinely print larger than that as long one measurement is 5in or smaller.

I was wondering about printing on regular cardstock with the PM400. I guess if the cardstock isn't too thick it should go through fine. I had some trouble with some thick cardstock on my regular printer but once I fed it through the rear paper feeder it worked well and since the PM400 is a rear feeding tray it should work. I bet if you cut sticker paper down to size it will work too, since the ink is just regular ink and it's not a thermal printer. I just reread this and what a stream of consciousness this was.

I use the smooth card stock that you get at Walmart or Target in the Printer section. It's not super heavy and has no texture and it prints great. I've used some regular card stock paper from Michaels and you have to be careful about it being too thick so I just use the regular printer card stock cut down to size.
