Like the title says, the company is shutting down on November 30th. Their web site will go offline. It’s a very sad day in the crafting world. I don’t have a machine to handle digital stuff yet, but I may go online and make a few purchases for future use.

I don’t have a machine to handle digital stuff yet, but I may go online and make a few purchases for future use. That is so sad. Regarding printing digital, I have purchased digital files from Etsy for special cardmaking projects and I use Staples Office Supplies online to print. I open the digital file in Word and size it, then submit to Staples online printing onto cardstock. It's usually ready within a day. I don't do a lot of digital printing, so this saves me from having to buy ink and the quality is perfect.

It’s really sad and disappointing, but it’s not entirely surprising. They needed more people to subscribe to their preferred membership, whatever it was called, but they weren’t consistent in offering releases. Sometimes they would offer only one in a month, and the preferred membership wasn’t an advantage when that was the case. And sometimes they released two or three in a month, but during the summer, they went very heavy on Christmas designs, rather than their more versatile designs. A crafter can only use so many Christmas designs. I think if they had released two to three lines each month, and focused on releases with more general appeal, they would have done better.
I’ve already downloaded most of their digitals, with only a couple of exceptions. I was hoping that selling digital designs would work well for them, and we’d get lots of their previous designs in digital format, but I guess it hasn’t been profitable enough for them to keep doing it and/or paying for the website.
I guess I need to look through their classes and see if I need to buy any. I have only one of their classes.

They are a local company for me. I've always enjoyed their quality stamps and dies. When they went mostly digital though they lost me as a customer. I don't like doing digital things for cardmaking

I don't like doing digital things for cardmaking I’m sure there were many who felt the way you do. I love both traditional and digital, and I find myself using digital more often, and they did offer some digital versions of stamps, dies, and papers that I didn’t have. I bought the digital designs even of the designs that I already owned the stamps, dies, and papers. I’m sad to see them closing, but I have to admit, their style isn’t exactly trendy.

It is sad that the gallery will be gone. They were/are a lovely company. The writing was on the wall though with the continued requests to join the membership program. Their style appeals to a specific demographic. I loved about 50% of their releases. Now I have also moved on to other styles. Not a fan of digital as I like the tactile kinesthetic aspect of crafting.

Last week and today, they have released digital versions of quite a few of their stamp designs. While I would love to see more of my favorite HC paper collections released before they close, they can probably turn out the stamp designs much faster in the short time that they have left. They can be printed and cut in any size, and crafters can color them, just like a stamped image.
