Do any of you listen to the podcast? I do not listen to any podcasts. I have seen some snippets on Twitter, but they seem to be from a few months ago. I don't know if the DT visit was live or recorded to be broadcast later.
I am just curious if it was a love fest between the two of them or if Rogan challenged him on anything.

I saw a brief clip. Rump was in person. He was going off about the stolen election and how there was all this evidence. Rogan asked when he was going to share the evidence and Rump just stuttered. (End of clip)
I was surprised that he was challenged.
I think I also heard that he was 3 hrs+ late for his rally in Texas (he posted a video apologizing looked like it was filmed on the private jet).

The only time I listen to a Joe Rogan podcast is when he has a comedian on. I thought he was negotiating to get Harris on, but I guess that fell through so he settled for the demented Orange fake Jesus. I heard some clips this morning and it doesn't sound like the podcast did Trump any favors. But then again, his supporters will continue to support him no matter what.

Joe Rogan should've been put in a vat of scorpions by now. I read an article about it and wasn't impressed. /gag

I don't like either one of them. I can't listen to the orange menace for more than 5 minutes without being infuriated. I have no intention of listening to the podcast but I did read some clips from it. Unsurprisingly, Trump sounded deranged, unhinged and dangerous. www.washingtonpost.com/elections/2024/10/26/trump-joe-rogan-podcast-enemy-within/Donald Trump on Friday said “the enemy from within” the United States poses a greater threat than the dictator of North Korea, a pariah state and long-standing American adversary — reprising a phrase that has drawn criticism during a meandering three-hour interview with the popular podcaster Joe Rogan.
“We had no problem with him,” Trump said of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, before adding, “I say it to people, we have a bigger problem, in my opinion, with the enemy from within.”
the Republican presidential nominee reiterated his false claims of election fraud, suggested there was life on Mars, mused about Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee and made an aside about prophecies on the end of the world.
Trump’s marathon sit-down with Rogan showcased the former president’s zigzagging speaking style — prompting Rogan to joke at one point about “the weave,” the phrase Trump uses to explain his frequent tangents. “Your weave is getting wide,” Rogan said, trying unsuccessfully to redirect the conversation to tariffs.
Rogan asked Trump about his false claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him. “We’ll do it another time,” Trump said, suggesting he would bring “many different papers.” Rogan pressed Trump for examples and Trump eventually steered the conversation to other topics.

Can't understand how people genuinely believe he can be trusted with nuclear weapons when he lacks the most basic understanding. His not knowing the UK was a nuclear power until he was in office was bad enough, but what is the excuse now? How does he not know how many countries have nuclear capabilities? The comment about wanting to be a whale psychiatrist might be one of the weirder ones. 9 countries 9. Trump says he only realized how powerful nuclear weapons are after he became President and learned there are five nuclear powers in the world.
There are NINE nuclear powers in the world. God help us.
10. Trump tells Joe Rogan he wants to be a whale psychiatrist.

I have just seen some clips but I read that Rogan challenged him. It sounded like he was very off topic (shocker) and that Rogan tried to bring him back. I do generally listen to a lot of podcasts but not that one.

I’ve watched some clips, and they were interesting. He asked questions that ultimately highlighted Trump’s ignorance and nonsensical rambling. Trump usually relies on victimhood and defensiveness with most interviews, but it was like it didn’t occur to him to act that way with Rogan. So he just looked inept and weird. Rogan even laughed out loud a few times.

Here is one clip from last night where they are talking about UFOs. Doesn't Rogen try to talk UFO's with every guest? He is kooky. I don't put a lot of stock in 'clips' ... if it is something that intrigues me I go find the full video. Clips can be edit to fit the person posting them, from either side of the political landscape.

True, but the link is Joe’s own YouTube channel and the clips are like 7-10 minutes long, so it is just not a sound bite. You get a good jest of what the conversation is about.

I think I’m in the minority here. I thought Rogan hardly pushed back on anything and piled on some of the things Trump said. I’m used to him screaming at rallies all the time, and his crazy stuff has been so normalized that he sounded like a regular guy when speaking in a normal tone on Rogan’s podcast. If you were a man listening to the podcast, it probably sounded like two bros shooting the breeze.
