I was thinking about hosting a 2Peas DD Prep Day in November or possibly December for anyone to join and be able to work on whatever December Daily/Christmas projects/cards they'd like. Would you be interested in joining? No cost, do what you want and come and go as you please. Basically just a day to commit to actually working on your Christmas projects.
If you'd come, what's your preference on day/time/month? In the Poll, you get to vote for 3 things: Month, Day and if you'd come.

OK, after looking at everyone's schedule -- I am going to schedule crops for SAT NOV 16 9:00AM - 1:00 and then again starting at 2:00 til we all get tired. All times are central.
I would love to have you come even if it's just to say hello for a minuet!
I will start a new thread on Saturday AM with the link and any other info!

A mini crop in here, you mean? Due to time zone differences, I'd probably miss out on half the (US) fun but I don't mind. The new Hallmark movies will keep piling up and need someone to craft in front of... 😉 Which days are you considering mom ? Weekends work best for me usually but I also now work occasionally on a Saturday or Sunday so eh, it all depends on the week the other Peas prefer. ETA: I'd prefer November. December is going to be a little crazy for me.

December is really hard for me.

I'm out for November 17 if by chance this turns into a weekend thing but both 16 and 9 should be good per my planner (if I didn't miss writing anything down 🤪).

Nov 9th weekend is the Scrapbook Generation crop on FB so I would prefer the weekends of Nov 16 or Dec 7

I voted for everything lol. I can usually make any weekend work if I know a bit ahead of time. I'm cool with whatever the majority wants.

I'd personally love it if it was 2 separate days both in November (maybe 1 Sat & 1 Sun), but I'd try to make it work no matter the date. December is definitely difficult for scheduling.

I'm late to the thread because I missed it! I love this idea and my only comment is that I cannot attend Nov. 16/17, or Dec 7/8 during the day, but would be able to join an evening crop those days. Thanks for keeping the peas connected mom!

Thanks so much for thinking of this mom ! I am not sure week to week of dgs's hockey schedule, so no need to schedule the crop around my availability. But I would drop in for part of it if it happens when I am here. I have the whole day on November 23rd blocked off to make cards in my dining room with justjac and one or two friends. It would be fun to sign in to a crop that day.

I have never done it but maybe I'll join in? It will be all based on my schedule taking DD to work.

I don't do DD's but I have a bunch of Christmas card ideas fighting with each other in my head. Might be a good time to bring them out to play with my supplies...
sleepingbooty, I did a check on World Clock, and this looks like 9:00AM Central would be 4:00PM Paris time, so 4:00PM to midnight, your time. Not sure how that compares to your time zone? And AussieMeg, 9 AM to 4PM Central Saturday, would be 3AM to 11AM Sunday, so maybe you could pop in for a bit at the end?

According to my Time Buddy app, 9am - 4pm Central would actually be 2am - 9am here. I *might* be able to jump in on the last hour, it depends on how late I'm up the night before!

Sorry, AussieMeg. I really need to check my answers when I am mathing... LOL. Did you have the time change already? We just went back an hour last weekend.

Sorry, AussieMeg . I really need to check my answers when I am mathing... LOL. Did you have the time change already? We just went back an hour last weekend. We started daylight savings on the first weekend in October. According to Google, Central time (I'm using Chicago, Illinois as my guide) is 17 hours behind Melbourne. Time in Melbourne now is 13:20 Wednesday, and in Chicago it is 20:20 Tuesday. This stuff does my head in!!

I'll be there for the part of the morning at least, (depending on how early I get myself going lol)

I'm slightly more likely to make the afternoon than the morning but it'll depend on what time DH is available to run errands and get groceries with me
