An item from my Amazon list that has been on there for well over a year just came in today. It is a 6' x 30" electric adjustable height desk. When the new craft room is ready - probably next week - it goes right in the middle. I can't wait! I would love one of those! Can I ask how big and heavy was the packaging? The packages are 30"x15"x6" and 30"x35"x6". I don't know how much they weigh. I can lift my end but can not carry one by myself. DH could carry each of them. They were delivered by UPS. I expect to open the packages and carry the items into the room for assembly.

My older MacBook Pro is not playing nicely with my Cricut Air 2. I’ve been wondering if I should get a new MacBook. DH set me a link to the MacBooks at Costco, but the prices have me hesitating. Particularly since we just bought a MacBook Pro for our grandson. And then…wouldn’t you know.. my 4 yr old iPad started getting really glitchy. Ugh. It won’t stay connected to the WiFi. Now I’m not sure which to upgrade. 1st world problem for sure. I just got a new MacBook Pro. I'm loving it. Your iPad......have it forget your wifi, then wait, log back into your wifi. Once it's connected restart the iPad. That may resolve your issue. Oh you could also do a hard reset on the iPad. Google your model to check the instructions. You won't loose anything on it. This too may be enough to resolve the issue.

We move into our new house Saturday…my list is very long. But, new living room furniture is at the top of the list.

Hmmm. I, too, have an Anthropology Wish list a mile long as well as a a couple of David Yurman bracelets. But I also am looking for a smaller table (4 seater) for our kitchen so thats probably what I will end up with, because you know, priorities.

I was supposed to get one for my birthday in September - Aldi had one for a really good price. Unfortunately they all sold out way quicker than DSO could get there to get me one. I'm not even sure whether I would use it, but now I really want one. DSO and I were talking about what we want for Christmas this year. We are going to Sydney on February, and we want to do the Harbour Bridge climb. It's really expensive, it's going to cost us nearly $800 for two tickets. So I suggested that can be our Christmas present to each other.

Tupperware set from Costco.. I might break down this weekend.. I LOVE it. I bought a similar set from Target last week plus a few extra pieces and I love it well I haven’t opened the big set just the extras and am in love. I got it in greens. I had bought some of the heritage a week prior and loved it so much I needed more 💕 ❤️ 💕 it. The green the nostalgia. It’s crazy how happy this stuff makes me.

A bookcase for the office. We don't have one now, so everything is laid out on surfaces. Not looking for anything fancy or expensive. We may get one off of Amazon instead of running down to IKEA. I am still toying with the idea of a new cutting machine, even though I don't use my current old Silhouette. LOL! Can't justify it enough to pull the trigger. I want a Brother or a Siser. OH, but Ikea is so much more fun!!! I heard on the radio today that someone filmed 3 seasons of a show in ikea and never got caught. You just reminded me to look it up later. Thanks!

Perfect timing. I told dh last night Ishad found a few things for christmas and to remind me 😆 Im thinking about: Ninja slush machine The drew barrymore stand mixer in dark green and a crock pot. I need to read some reviews I’d love that Slushi machine too but at $279-299 it just ain’t happening here. 😳 Also on my wish list would be some SugarPrism food color paint sets for hand painting cookies, they run about $75 each and there are two different sets. I can paint with the airbrush colors I have now, but those palettes are sooo pretty. They have edible “acrylic” paints too but those are even pricier. I really, really want the Nightmare Before Christmas LEGO set with all the minifigures in it but I don’t see that happening either. Also about $200. I should just buy it but I hate spending that much money on something like that when I still have 2-3 bigger sets still unassembled in the boxes. 😬 ETA: My 2019 MacBook Pro has a memory issue that will cost $700 to fix. DH doesn’t want to throw $700 at a five year old laptop, but a comparable new one would set us back about $2200. Also 😬😳.

An island for my kitchen (will totally buy when I find the right one) A sublimation printer-pricey, but worth it for me, I make a lot of shirts and mugs. But they are so big and I don’t know where I’d fit it. My craft room is full and I already have craft supply overflow in the dining room I wanted a sublimation printer and got a Sawgrass SG500 about a year ago. It’s only about as big as a regular desktop printer. While I really LOVE the idea of it, like the fact that setup and using it is easy without a lot of fiddling around with printer profiles, etc. and the fact that I get flawless prints from it, I really haven’t used it enough to justify the expense. The printer itself was about $600 and I’ve already spent another $600 on ink for it even though I’ve barely used it (it runs a self cleaning program every so often to keep the print heads clean which just burns up the expensive ink without producing anything). I even bought a cheap convection oven to do mugs and other stuff and haven’t even tried that because the blanks are so expensive I can’t justify buying stuff just to test things out only to have them get screwed up. At this point I kind of regret the purchase because I just don’t use it enough. I make a lot of shirts and other projects with HTV but that’s so much easier because you can put it on any type of fabric. Sublimation only works great on polyester which DH and DD don’t prefer, plus those shirts are twice as expensive and harder to find good quality ones that feel nice.

As always with me I want to add to my book collection so I asked for them as Christmas presents a Jane Austen set and a Bronte sisters set from Juniper books. From a practical standpoint I need new clothes I have lost just over 65lbs and my clothes are falling off. We are also remodeling some rooms in our home and I would love to buy new flooring.

I want wood floors. We have wood floors throughout the house except for the bedrooms/office. It's thick plush carpet, so thick it's hard to move my desk chair in my office. I literally have to pick up the chair to move it, no sliding it back.

I want a Vitamix in the worst way lol.
I bought a Ninja system (blender, food processor, small smoothie cup size blenders) and love it. Then I started a vanilla bean obsession during Covid, making my own vanilla and vanilla bean paste. I use it all for work, so the jars and jars I have are all going to be used!
But when I make paste, the Ninja leaves some bits of the beans a bit larger and not so ground up. I did find a new recipe that gives instructions for using a non-Vitamix style, and made that last month, and it seems a bit better.
I cannot justify the expense of the Vitamix just because I want finer bean paste! So I'm waiting for a Vitamix fairy to deliver to me.

Now I’m not sure which to upgrade. 1st world problem for sure. I will say - I have coveted an iMac for YEARS!! But my little laptop was doing fine - until it was super slow this spring and I knew it was time to upgrade. I did wait until my car payments were over and done - 7 years of bi-weekly payments, all paid with cake $$ - done! So I got my iMac - and I did the Apple financing. It was $100/month (vs the $190 bi-weekly) so I jumped in. The larger size over the smallest one was only a $10/month difference so I got the largest one, in pretty pretty purple. LOVE IT!! I use my iPhone for photos, and my iPad and Procreate for sketching cakes for my clients, so having the iMac has been amazing. I can air drop things from one to the other - no more emailing myself photos from my iPad to my laptop and downloading them to upload to a client file.

Are they easier to clean? Mine is - the trays are dishwasher safe and the drip pan is easy to hand wash - the door removes for cleaning and the inside isn't hard to wipe out (nor does it get very dirty ime) I agree. But, I line my drip pan with foil and just replace occasionally. My wish list is a comfy reading chair for the living room, bedroom furniture, reupholstering an antique chair from my grandmother's house, a cabinet with drawers for my entry, and a photo printer. Everything is pretty expensive, so will be my list for quite a while!

I'm changing mine...I want my UK passport...I thought I had finally got all the paperwork in to replace it (USPS sent my priority mail to Puerto Rico and then it sat in transit for over a month and only starting moving again after I opened a case) but no, they need proof of me changing my middle names (when I married I dropped my middle names and started using my maiden as a middle - not something that here in the US requires anything official other than just using the new version - it's on my state id, my SS card, my US passport...). There's a hard deadline (Dec 13) for resolving this and if I don't/can't, they my application gets closed (fees non-refundable) and I would have to start over (which tbh I probably can't justify the expense of doing)

A tartan brushed cotton bed linen set. A jigsaw puzzle board which is arriving tomorrow And we're eyeing up a nice holiday next summer for our 35th wedding anniversary because we weren't able to go as we'd planned for our 30th in 2020 because of covid. Which jigsaw puzzle board did you order? You'll love how convenient it is. I have the port-a-puzzle and it carries and stores right under my couch. Love it.
I had one before but for the life of us we don't know where it is - just vanished (although I'd put money on it being in the garage somewhere hidden behind some of Dh's 'treasures'

I bought an Epson eco tank and converted it to a sublimation only printer (by putting sublimation ink in it). It was about $200 not including ink. My problem is the mugs I made everyone are starting to wear, after eight months of use, and all in the same way. I think I need a new mug source...

Practical? A new outdoor mat for the front door. It's double doors so I need one of the oversize double-door style and I want coir. Seems easy, right? Not at all. I can't find one really true-to-that-size that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Our realtor gave us the one we have now and, man, she must have really like us. (Lol. She's my MIL, too.)
Not practical, but more "wishy": A long-weekend spa vacation. Yoga and massages every day. A facial. Meditation. Delicious good-for-you food.

I’m sorry you’re not loving it but knowing that helps me feel better about not buying it! The Sawgrass is a really nice printer and mine worked perfectly right out of the box. I avoided getting an Epson because even though it and the third party inks are much cheaper a LOT of the people in the sublimation groups online have had trouble getting the print profiles right for sublimation ink. Plus, after several bad run ins with Epson in the past I’ve sworn off ever buying another one again, so there’s that. I think if you’re not going to literally use it every single week, it just doesn’t pay for itself like I thought it would. Quite honestly, I wish the white toner DTF printers weren’t so expensive! I probably would use one of those ALL the time because you can press those designs on any type of fabric, and on any color.

A home Pilates reformer, refreshing my living room sofa, bookcase/tv stand unit, rugs; rug for my bedroom once Cal is housebroken. Don't do it! My studio moved and I made the terrible mistake of buying a reformer. I found a new studio and it's collecting dust - even during Covid I hated working out alone.
