Purdue hosts Northwestern. I had to look it up. That is how disillusioned I am with this team.

Texas Tech plays at Iowa State. We most likely will lose.
Texas A&M plays South Carolina - I think we will win. We are still high after beating LSU last week.

Michigan State hosts Indiana and I'm going to the game with my MSU roommate and her DH. It's been at least 25 years since we have gone to a game together and I'm excited.
IU is having a great season, hope we can hang with them.

TCU plays Baylor. TCU will have bowl eligibility with a win. Which they did not make last year, after playing for the championship in 2022. Such is college ball. Good luck everyone. 💜

Huskers host UCLA. Hoping to become Bowl eligible for the first time since 2016. If the the team that played Ohio St. shows up, I think we will be fine. IF the team that played Indiana shows up, anything could happen.

Huskers host UCLA. Hoping to become Bowl eligible for the first time since 2016. If the the team that played Ohio St. shows up, I think we will be fine. IF the team that played Indiana shows up, anything could happen. Go Big Red! Short story from the 90s about your Huskers. My x and I moved to Texas in 1990. He started going to happy hour at a local small bar often. A Cheers place, everyone knew your name. I would go occasionally as well. Time frame was about 1991 to 1996 when we divorced. One very prominent guy there was from Nebraska. He daily wore red Huskers gear of some sort. We were from Michigan. The back and forth chatter about the teams was constant. Always good natured and fun. He’s since passed. Quite often I remember him and the fun banter when I see your avatar. Good luck this weekend. ❤️ |

So proud of my Gamecocks!!! They beat Texas A&M 44-20 and shut them out in the second half. What a great game!!My son was there and stormed the field for the first time, what a special experience for him!

I think I'm quitting football! I totally get what you’re saying. These last couple of years I have not been as invested in my sports teams as I was in the past. Because the outcomes are totally out of my control. Oh, I watch. Plan my days around the games. But, there is just me watching, which I am used to. But I find myself - good game or not - it’s just not that important to me anymore. |
