Well, I guess that explains HA's site being down for sales due to "upgrades".
I have deeply mixed feelings about this. I've loved Hero since my early days of paper crafting, more than 20 years ago. They do seem to have lost their way recently, but I'm not sure that becoming more like Spellbinders is the answer for me...I liked HA better than SB! But it they've been struggling financially and this helps, I suppose it's better than getting bought by one of the even bigger companies. Maybe they'll even manage to keep a separate style.

I’ve been a fan of HA for many years. It goes back to pre-clear stamps and when there was only rubber. My favorite is their nature stamps - animals and flowers.
I hope this goes well for them and I hope they get to keep their style.

There’s a thread about this on the Stamping/Cardmaking board with SB’s statement. It sounds like the goal is for Hero to retain their style.
