Does anyone do this? I was looking at dog beds on Kohls website and some of the reviews said "incentivized" received free product. It got me to thinking that might be an interesting thing to do on occasion. If you do this, any suggestions on how to get started? Thanks!

I do them for the Amazon Vine programme. As far as I know, with Vine you don’t apply, I got an email inviting me to join. I get to choose what I want from pages of stuff and have to write unbiased reviews on 90% of those items. There is a lot of rubbish in the choices but I’ve had some good things. It’s time consuming but I like doing it.

I had written previous, unsolicited reviews, yes, but not in any great number. I think they maybe used a random generator!
You start off by being allowed to order up to 3 items a day, no more than $60 each iirc, and after 6 months, if you meet the criteria, you can order up to 8 items a day, of any value each.

I do reviews for 3M products. I believe I signed up a few years ago. They periodically send out an email and you choose what product you are willing to review from the list.
I don't recall how I started but 3M makes post it notes and I LOVE all shapes and sizes of those, so maybe it was signing up on their website or opening every email they sent out - not sure exactly.
Pinecone Research is a firm I used to do reviews for. They pay you a few dollars in addition to letting you keep the product.
