Wouldn't this just be a lovely cross stitch pattern?! You have a good eye! Janet Stone created this quilt. It is one of many she has won ribbons with at International Quilt Festival, including some Best of Show. One article I've read said her designs are inspired by the cross stitch samplers she used to make! Another interesting fact is that she does her own quilting - on a domestic machine! The quilt she won with this year is the 25th one in a series of 26 Alphabet quilts. I can't wait to see #26! Good interview with her from 2022 Janet Stone |
