Visual Black History Past, Present, Future (Continued):    There are 1,795 felt letters that were cut an appliqued individually to this quilt.  This is amazing! Just amazing! |

Tales from Africa (Continued):   This was an "oh maaaannnn" reaction from me. Gorgeous! If you loved this exhibit and this quilt in particular, you might want to check out the video link below. Alex Anderson of The Quilt Show discussed Uzoma's work. Additionally, she interviewed Kaia Kessler who quilted this particular quilt. It's an interesting story and she is a fantastic longarm quilter (she does my quilts for me!). Every time I look at photos from that show I think Wezee turn in your seam ripper. They are not Quilts! They are works of art!p
