I'll start by saying I am not a Christmas person at all. Halloween all of the way for me. I like the spirit of Christmas but the aesthetic just isn't for me. That being said, I do scrap Christmas pictures and buy some Christmas collections. What images attract you? What images do you not use? For me, if it has a deer on it, I'm in. I'm deer crazy. I love them in real life (I see them on my walks sometimes) but I also love deer images in Christmas products. I also don't object to snowmen. Snowmen, in whatever style the scrapbook line is, are usually cute. But Santa Claus? No, no, no! He is creepy. Skeletons are creepy and fun. Santa is creepy in "stalks you, enters your house illegally, and has children sit on his lap" kind of way. Very occasionally I'll use the Victorian St. Nick images but very rarely do I plop a Santa on my layout. I can think of one layout that was about my mom's Santa figure collection (Why Mom, why?), and nothing else. Does anyone else have preferences for Christmas stuff? Your post has me literally LOL. I'm sitting here cracking up! Edited to add: I agree that Santa is sort of creepy, although I'll use selected Santa images in cards sometimes. I'm with you on the deer! Other than deer, I'm a sucker for poinsettias and candy cane images (even though I don't actually eat candy canes any more, they were childhood favorites, so the motifs make me happy.) The Sparkling Christmas collection by Ciao Bella is exactly what I love in a Christmas collection!  |

My favs are definitely deer and artsy pine trees, holly and stars....and I love the whole woodland animals thing.

I love Christmas, so I am drawn to a wide variety of designs. I’m not fond of gnomes though.
I have a large collection of vintage Christmas decor from the 50s-60s, so anything inspired by those will get my attention. The Mix & A-Mingle collection from Simple Stories/Kelly Bangs last year is a good example. I bought all of the physical product and the digitals as well.

I live in a part of Texas where if we get snow its gone the next day except in the shade... we do get ice... BUT I LOOOVVVEEEE snowflakes and snow topped trees and snow men...
And I feel bad for poor Santa being called a creep... lol I love the santa image... elves... now those are creepy... lol
I also am a fan of woodland creatures and I like some kawaii faces on my clouds and suns...
I really like christmas light images also!!!
OHHH and I am completely over the red truck with the christmas tree on top... done with that image!!

I also have a soft spot for images of snow covered houses or small snowy village scenes.
