It is my birthday so I am hoping to use that as my leverage of not watching the results tonight. Youngest dd and I have been binge watching Gilmore Girls so I am hoping we can just watch that tonight. Happy birthday! My DS's bday was yesterday and it often falls on Election Day. The day he was born, Clinton was elected. |

I'm hoping to avoid all news and actually be able to sleep.
The first part is easy enough--I plan on asking my youngest if they want to start our annual cheesy Christmas movie watching tonight.
The 2nd part, well that remains to be seen.

Hoping to get my 2 year old to bed at a decent time then I'll sit in silence and hope for the best. No tv in the house so I'll be on either YT or Prime and TikTok to feel connected to the outside world.

I just put Tim Walz’s prize winning tater tot hotdish into the oven. I have made tater tot hotdish many times and it is usually easy. His had many steps and when I was stirring flour into butter about to add cream and milk to it I thought that no matter how good it is, I will probably not make it again. I took no shortcuts. I did it right.
I’ll watch coverage tonight. I am feeling good.

I just can't. I'm trying to keep distracted, but I'll probably peek at returns from time to time. Not going to listen to the talking heads. I want the numbers. Period. Tell me whether I'm drinking the champagne or the drain cleaner.

No traditions.. we are really political people. I am streaming the Amazon coverage with Brian Williams in the background and going to do some crafting.. xmas cards for the swap and/or my junk journal.

I am Canadian but I still follow what’s happening to my neighbours! I have 2 extra beds in my house if you can tolerate the snow if needed !
