jeremysgirl that is indeed a lovely photo of Delta Dawn . When I walk him, I’m always afraid we will encounter an off lease dog. The only time I have seen Boris show any aggression is earlier this year when we encountered an off-lead dog. Boris was on the lead, and obviously felt threatened because the other dog was loose, so he growled and snapped at the other dog. I was shocked! DSO made dinner. He cooked lamb & rosemary sausages, and a magnificent steak on the BBQ. We also had store-bought mac & cheese and potato salad. The steak was huge, so I somehow managed to only eat half of it so that I had some steak-a-la-rechauffe for lunch.

bc2ca , A dear friend just started chemo and the other day she sent me a video of her dh shaving what's left of her hair. I told her the truth. I had never paid attention to how beautiful she is. She has beautiful eyes and hair or no hair she is so pretty. Whatever, happens w/your hair when it grows back, you'll have luscious hair. That's been the experience of the women I've known who have endured chemo. Delta Dawn , speaking of beautiful... Do you know how pretty you are? What a lovely photo. jeremysgirl , It just sucks that you have to look at potential med changes now. Btwn your psych and your PCP they'll come up w/a regimen that works for you. Meanwhile, it's daunting to think about the side effects of changing meds. You'll be OK. They'll find a solution. So, a simple acupuncture treatment turned into my very first Chiro appt on Friday. I can't wait. He's holistic, right up my alley. This guy has been working there as a tech while going through Chiro school. He graduated a few months ago and he's starting his practice at my acupuncturist's clinic. Can you say twice weekly bliss. Woohoo! bc2ca , I know that you can do acu for wrinkles and as a substitute for botox, so I see no reason that it wouldn't help heal scar tissue. You already do TM, so you are familiar w/holistic techniques. DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! BTW-it can really help you tolerate chemo symptoms, too.

leannec, how are you feeling today? I hope that you're on the mend. I subbed today ... high school Social Studies up until the last block where the teacher had a prep and they threw me in a grade 8 Outdoor Ed. class. Loud and unruly monsters. I was supposed to get them to do a rough copy of a project and then take them outside to play kickball ... hell no ... I don't reward bad behaviour ... we worked at our desks for the entire time ... 3:33 pm couldn't come fast enough. My foot is still killing me but I don't feel like I have been hit by a truck anymore so that's a plus ... I will get my family doctor to order some imaging on my foot and ankle when I see him on Nov. 14th ... Dinner tonight was macaroni and cheese ... easy peasy!

I'd love to see pics of both things. Because the world today needs more pictures and celebrations of beautiful things. And both you, and the yarn are beautiful things to me, at least. I did get the yarn and am second guessing one of the colors, but started on a tension swatch and will take a photo tomorrow. And maybe add a photo of my cut, which really is nothing except a tidy up. No one in the family noticed. It's funny, scrapmaven, I was ok with losing my hair as a sign things were working. My sister cut it to ear length when it first started falling out and then DH shaved it before surgery and I was ok with the bald look. What I hate is the scraggly growing in phase. I was really hoping to be snow white but it is not happening. Too short to show much of a curl yet and it is way thinner than before.

leannec, You definitely should have an xray on that foot. I hope it is nothing. bc2ca, the growing in process is probably the worst phase. See what it looks like once it grows completely back. My mother was mid-sixties when she had chemo. Her hair had been thinning and a dull brown. After chemo her hair grew back with her childhood auburn color and it was very curly. At first it looked thin and awkward. Then it grew back and it was so pretty. I'll wish the same for you.

scrapmaven enjoy your acupuncture!!! Does that help with scar tissue? My surgeon suggested I get some dry needling. Has anyone tried that? Sounds painful! I have had dry needling for sciatic pain -it is not painful at all as the needles are so fine and it works really well. I am not sure how but after treatment I certainly feel so much better. Certainly worth a try imho.
