To help the US Peas navigating this difficult moment, I thought I'd open a thread for the international Peas to post articles, social media posts, opinion pieces and cartoons on Trump's election as the next president of the United States of America.
You are not alone. We were waiting with bated breath. We are shocked, too. We are worried. For you, for the world, too.
Whenever possible, please post links to the original sources.

All of France's national newspapers have Trump's election as their page 1 news. It is discussed non stop, on TV, on the radio, among friends, at work. You'd think we were American. My peers are very upset and extremely worried. Le Monde, one of France's three newspapers of record, posted the following editorial today ( English version):

Whenever possible, please post links to the original sources. Not surprisingly, it's major news here in New Zealand. Here's a link to the live feed on one of the two main print media news sites. This is a link to the home page of the second main print media news site . And here's the first of two ( I can't seem to insert 2 images into one quote, scratch that, two worked after all) screenshot of the lead stories at the top of that site's home page:

Our main evening news tonight was entirely devoted to the election. And some of the broadcasters had trouble talking about him with the respect normally given to foreign leaders. And this is the BB C’s take on what to expect from trump initially www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cev90d7wkk0o

Just know that a LOT of us did not vote for that moron. It was the red hats that elected him, and I will not be lumped in with those people.

It's still funny to think we (by we I do NOT mean me) had to go to this extreme to get him to head back your way ;D

Firstly, I just want to be really clear that I'm not endorsing the writer of the opinion piece I'm about to share, or the opinion itself, I'm just sharing it for anyone who may be interested to know something of the opinions being expressed here in New Zealand. " Identity politics have failed the left; here is the way forward" by Josie Pagani for The Post (a masthead published by one of NZ's main media companies, Stuff) * I though a photo might be easier for peaps, who aren't comfortable clicking a link, to read.

Thank you for your condolences and for the thread. I know I feel powerless, I'm sorry, I can't imagine watching this disaster from another country and having zero control. As an American, I can't understand why so many people voted for him, I imagine it's incomprehensible to anyone outside the US. Thank you, I always appreciate the perspective of international peas.
