If you set scrapbooking goals for the year, how are they going? What do you have left to cross off? What are you thinking about for next year? I didn't set an official goal but my OLW was 'record' and thanks to 29-4-29, Sketchtember, and making a priority to scrapbook I think I have done that: recorded the memories. I haven't kept very good track of how many layouts I've made (they didn't all make it on Flickr, although I took photos of most of them) but it's definitely more than usual. I also finished October Daily 2023. I don't think I've used as many scraps as I thought I would. I think there is only less because I recycled some of them  And I made (and sent) a lot more cards than I usually do this year (it's not hard to beat the number 0 ) birthday mostly, but several thank you cards and a graduation card as well. I have no idea what my scrappy goals for 2025 are going to be yet. On one hand, my busiest child will be graduating high school, and I won't spend half my awake hours driving her all over for sports, but on the other hand, I just applied for a very part time (but during my main scrapbook time) job... The one little word on my mind for 2025 is 'zen' or something similar but that could change over the next two months. What about you? |

I had no scrappy goals really for 2024. Let's face it --- I wasn't scrapping at all at the beginning of the year. But that has changed....some. I've made some cards, finished DD 2022 and DD 2023 and also finished up some past PL albums that were just hanging around undone. So overall, Im happy with what I did do.

I just looked back at the 2024 goals thread I posted late last December and it looks like no one posted yearly goals except me.
600 layout goal for 2024 - I'm at 521 so on track to meet that
I would like to finish the family albums for 2023 and 2022 as well as the big kids albums for 2023 and 2022. At a guess those four should get me pretty close to my pages goal. I AM going to try and do some themed month in review pages in them instead of scrapping several similar layouts each month - cats and gardens and the big kids regular Colonial Williamsburg visits are the themes I'm thinking of doing a double page for each month rather than multiple layouts for each. Obviously a few special photos will still get highlighted with a regular layout. But I do need to do something to make the sheer number of photos each year more manageable.
NOPE - haven't finished those albums - MIGHT get the family 2022 done - I have 2 more layouts for June and then July and August will be left to finish
I would also like to get a couple of trip albums done. I have about 16 layouts to go in my 2013 Atlanta album and I'm predicting about 25 pages for a 2008 RI album. If by some miracle I get all that accomplished, then I think the Legoland Malaysia album would be the next to start.
2013 Atlanta is finished - the 2008 RI - nope
Beyond that - continue labelling photos - aiming to get the 1960s done (print and digital scans) of mum's photos this year.
yeah - that's a no also.
I think I didn't do a good job setting goals (or maybe following through on them is the issue?)
Next year (2025) I think I'll keep a layout goal and probably keep it at 600. But maybe not specify albums to complete? I need to start thinking about a word...

Goals for 2025: Complete 2024 pl (up to date) Complete kids albums x2 for 2024 (up to date) Complete dd 2024 Complete nz 2004 album (journaling done) Complete trip 2024 album (going soon đź¤) If I had have added my 2024 goals at the time I think they would’ve been to finish some of the projects/albums I had half done for years and I did in a recent huge push. Some pages aren’t my favourites but they are done and that’s enough, I can always go back and redesign later if I want to (would probably never happen!) I also set up my 2025 albums in advance to have somewhere to store my printed photos before I scrap like lasteve1 does in her pl set up |

I don't know if I wrote these down here, but I wanted to - Do a Sheetload of Christmas cards every month (on track for this but did birthday one month)
- Complete my Sketches 2024 monthly layouts for the SCT class I signed up for (on track for this)
- Fill in the pockets for the monthly pocket page year-long class I signed up for (I think I have finished up to August so far)
- Use up my pre-made card bases (I've used a few, but I forgot how many of these I own. I might have to bump this to 2025)
- Use up a whole roll of washi (I did. It was one of those washi sticker rolls, but I'm still counting it.)
- Do the 100 Day Project of colouring my stamped images (I think I made it to day 30)

My 2024 and 2025 scrapbooking goals are the same.
Actively scrapbook. I am years behind.
Upload and print photos.
I haven't made as much progress in 2024, as I had hope to. Progress wise...I extend myself grace and put no pressure on myself.
My philosophy is >> it will get done, when it gets done.
I have been thinking about my 2025 word(s), but haven't made a final decision yet.
