Please cry more about name-calling when this is the sort of rhetoric we deal with every day. Name calling (groomer, indoctrinator, baby-killer, pedophile) and threats of violence from the right are totally fine, I guess. How exactly does one tell by looking who is a liberal woman? 🤪 Oh, yeah, we’re the ones not wearing the MAGA hats and shirts. 🙄 Any woman not dressed and turned out to please the male gaze is assumed to be a liberal woman.

I don't understand how Republicans don't see Trump as completely different than any other candidate. If you don't think he will do what he says he is gonna do, how do you discern his truths from his lies? Do you laugh when he said vile things about Kamala and wouldn't pronounce her name correctly? They know he's different. They know he's awful. They just don't care as long as he continues to hate the same people they hate.

What is the secret to telling when Trump is just joking (“Oh, he is not going to do that”) and when we should believe him?? I don’t understand either! If it is something they like, he will surely do it. If it is something they don’t like, they don’t believe he will actually do it.

But if they find out later that he will do it, then they'll twist themselves into pretzels to say either they don't care because it doesn't affect them, or whatever it is is fine anyway.

This article explains a couple of reasons why Trump won. In Wisconsin, he won by a really narrow argin. He managed to win over enough voters in the swing states. In Nevada, he won over enough Latino votes to win the state. People who prioritized the economy and immigration voted for him. Trump voters voted for change and leadership. Somehow, they think he is capable of both. www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy4nyg9vl3no

Oh my..... Some GOP senators are revolting against, Musk, Kirk and Carlson. They do not want to be told who their Senate leader should be Maybe, just maybe.... Republican senators are pushing back against President-elect Donald Trump and his base of MAGA supporters as they try to ram a potential party leader down their proverbial throats, according to a new report. Mounting calls for Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) to become next majority leader has infuriated several GOP senators who do not want to consider conservative pundits' demands when choosing a candidate to support, Punchbowl News reported Monday. “I really don’t much care what Tucker Carlson thinks," one GOP senator, who asked not to be named, said. "They’re trying to bully us. That’s not how these elections work.”Scott is considered an underdog in the race to replace Sen. Mitch McConnell next to favorites Senate Minority Whip John Thune (R-SD) and Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX). That hasn't stopped Carlson, Charlie Kirk and Elon Musk from throwing their support behind Scott, according to the report. my friend who owns a nut farm, went from selling to the chinese at $8 per pound, to only being able to sell domestically for $0.69 a pound (wholesale). they stopped exporting to china. I look at statistics and economists when it comes to judging the economy. the vast numbers of studies and the large number of economists who say this economy is the best it can be right now, and trump's plan will tank it is more believable than any stump speech by someone who knows nothing about economics. when the republicans stop lying I would love to hear how tariffs will help us. good luck They won't help us at all.....tariffs are past on to the consumers at the retail level meaning higher prices for us all. Yep, I don't think people in general understand how these things work. It's rather mind-boggling to me. On a very local level, I see and hear renters gleefully voting for all the property tax funding plans because "it doesn't affect them." Sigh. Do they think the owners eat that cost themselves? NOPE.

I don't think what won last week was a republican party. Trump at the top and horrible people like Gaetz, MTG, Hawley ,Cruz - didn't a republican colleague say noone would p on him if he was on fire or something similar?
I'm fearful about how having Putin"s pal back in the whitehouse will affect Ukraine, Europe and ultimately my own country.
I recently finished 'parable of the sower ' and am halfway through 'parable of the talents' It's scary how she saw so clearly into the future!

There are tons of pro-MAGA accounts that purport to be Black people or younger women, and every so often one of them gets outed as just another white dude. Most likely some guy sitting in mom's basement with his gross incel fantasies about punishing liberal women for rejecting him.

So, Republicans, I have some questions about Trump's new border czar, Tom Homan, and the coming mass deportations. (Did someone say that wasn't actually going to happen?) www.houstonchronicle.com/politics/texas/article/trump-tom-homan-texas-border-deportation-19906670.php?utm_source=marketing&utm_medium=copy-url-link&utm_campaign=article-share&hash=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuaG91c3RvbmNocm9uaWNsZS5jb20vcG9saXRpY3MvdGV4YXMvYXJ0aWNsZS90cnVtcC10b20taG9tYW4tdGV4YXMtYm9yZGVyLWRlcG9ydGF0aW9uLTE5OTA2NjcwLnBocA%3D%3D&time=MTczMTM2MTQxNTg1OQ%3D%3D&rid=YTY3YzQ1OTYtODAzMC00N2RhLWE0ZjgtODhlNWQ2OTAwYzBh&sharecount=Mg%3D%3D1. Trump wants a blank check to execute mass incarceration/deportations. He doesn't care what the cost is. One estimate says it could cost as much as $315 billion and no cost study analysis has been done by the Trump folks to see what the long term economic effects may be with the loss of tax revenue and worker productivity. Is that kind of reckless and unstudied government spending cool cool with fiscal conservatives now? 2. The new border czar says, "You have the right to claim asylum. You have the right to see a judge. And we make that happen," Homan said. "But at the end of that due process, if the judge says you must go home, then we have to take them home." I'm super confused here. Because we've got Trump surrogates and people on this board saying that all the folks Biden "let in" are "illegals," but now you've got *Trump's* new border czar acknowledging that immigrants have a legal right to stay while their asylum case works its way through the courts. How can that be? Didn't you all vote for Trump in part because he promised to round *all* the currently undocumented immigrants up and deport them? And if your answer is that asylum seekers are not here illegally and not the problem, why have you been throwing a fit about them for the past ten years? 3. Oh, and several here have assured us that Trump has nothing to do with Project 2025, and Trump himself said that those folks would have nothing to do with his administration, but it seems that Tom Homan was a contributor to Project 2025. And now he's going to play a major role in the Trump administration and has been slotted in in such a way that he doesn't even require Senate confirmation. So here we've (a) already caught a Trump lie about project 2025, (b) proven that Trump and P2025 are and will be intimately connected through this administration, despite what some of his voters seemed to think, and (c) noted that he's happy to circumvent the Senate confirmation process (supposedly one of the checks and balances on his power) to appoint someone to a job that didn't previously exist. Can anyone riddle me that? Are you going to stick with the refrain that Trump isn't connected with Project 2025, or are you all going to twist in the wind now and come around to the position that P2025 is great and you fully support it? Are we good with asylum seekers still awaiting a court date like the Border Czar is OK with them? And you're OK with Trump having a blank check of our tax money to do all this, without any research whatsoever on the economic impact to our country/

Lurkingpea. No problem because Harris and her people would have already signed it! I know that, I am just wondering what the consequences are supposed to be, I guess. Technically the transition cannot move forward. *** By law, no transition can take place before it's signed — and Trump is already making plans including appointing Cabinet members. But transition briefings, needed before he takes office, have been delayed because by law they can't be given before the ethics agreement that's part of the Presidential Transition Act is signed. The law applies to all members of the transition team. *** In March 2020, Trump himself signed the bill requiring the ethics pledge into law. Wisconsin's Sen. Ron Johnson (R) introduced the bill and it was co-sponsored by Warren, among others. www.rawstory.com/trump-ethics-rules-transition/

As expected, a couple have now jumped on the thread to show just how inclusive they are. It's fine...don't listen, don't learn, but the people spoke loud and clear on Tuesday. Inclusive? Inclusive?! Hahahhahahaha Your party and many of their top people want to exclude so many communities of "others" and less desirables to the point if not wanting some of them to even exist. More than one candidates that trump endorsed and vise versa thought killing people would be cool. Slavery "I'd buy some" Inclusive, you're funny.
