Hi everyone! Today is just another repeat of every other day for me ... foot is still killing me and I'm bored out of my tree. I took a hot bath at 5:30 am and that felt really nice! Needless to say, I slept very little last night ... No plans for the day ... I'm way behind watching this season of Survivor so I'll probably catch up on that ... This is what I posted on Facebook ... it gets dark so early now! I often don't know what day it is and now I hardly know what time it is! I'm undecided as to what dinner will be ... What are your plans today? What is on your menu tonight? Have a great Saturday everybody!

Sorry your foot is still hurting leannec! I had a blast at the Sweeney Todd melodrama last night. My mom was throwing popcorn at everyone and not just the actors so all of the tables were also throwing at us! I had to shake popcorn off of me before I got in the car. I cleaned this morning and now I'm just chillin after my shower. I think I may put up my tree today if I can get someone to help me get it out of the garage. Dinner tonight will probably be spaghetti in the instant pot. I took some hamburger out of the freezer so I know I'll be making something with it. Hope you all have a great day!

Hey all tiptoeing back in. I did a total social media/Internet blackout last week. It was just all not working for me. Hope you're all well. Dinner tonight may be tacos, or hamburgers or - well clearly I have no plan so we'll see what jumps in the cart when I get to the grocery store.

leannec, were I you I would go to Urgent care today and get the foot checked. This has been going on way too long. I hope that you get relief and feel better, very soon. I'm going start my Hogwarts Castle Lego today. I finally have the brain cell to be able to do it. I'll be knitting on and off, too. Dinner will be rechauffe Japanese food from the restaurant last night. Dh has chicken teriyaki and Karagge chicken from which to choose. Enjoy a relaxing, fun day, my tribe. leannec, go see the doctor. (I'm nagging you.)

Good evening all, Not much happening on this side of the world today. We went grocery shopping this morning as always - with DH home we take the car, so we can stock up, especially with heavy things. Then during the week, I can just walk up for bits and pieces. This afternoon we watched football - our team won - and I have been knitting. I have finished the body of Sophia’s cardigan just now and will decide after dinner whether to pick up the stitches for the sleeves tonight or wait until tomorrow when the light will be better. DH has cooked dinner, as he usually does on Saturdays. He has made a slow cooked beef casserole, with Mexican flavours. It smells fantastic. I think he is planning on green beans and pasta as sides. leannec - I agree with scrapmaven that you should think about going back to the doctor if it’s at all possible. Your foot should be getting at least a bit better by now. Have a great weekend everyone.

Wow, not many peas posing today.
I went to a fundraiser craft sale today with my bestie. I honestly don’t need anything but I enjoy looking at all the crafts. Lots of people making soap these days!
DH has an umbilical hernia which has taken a backseat over the last couple years due to his heart surgery. He’s now focused on getting it fixed but knows the dr will tell him that he needs to lose some belly fat before they will do surgery. He does intermittent fasting like I do but isn’t as committed to it as I am. He now wants to try a keto diet which is focused on low carbs which he tries to do anyways. His downfall is bread and potatoes. I will support him but I’m not into wrested in losing any more weight. I’m easily maintaining my weight loss through intermittent fasting.
Supper tonight will be grilled steak for me and grilled burgers (just the meat) for DH. There was a lone steak in the freezer with my name on it!

Hi well we have a new package of smokies so I will make them, rechauffe ribs, vegetables, salad and coleslaw. Today I took a nap and it was nice. I was really tired after being up late last night. I took Dexter for a walk and things are awesome. I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

I was speaking at a recruiting event for our CASA program this morning so meandered my way home, stopping at a couple stores to check out their holiday decor and another to do some returns. I don't have anywhere else I have to be this weekend, so plan to figure out what I'm doing at our retreat next week and get that organized. I'll knit while I think about it. DD has lobbied hard for Thai tonight so I agreed to pay if she orders and picks it up.

Oh no, taylortroop . You had me at the "H" word. Your poor dh. Bulgie sends his regards. I think I've told you that my sil and her bf do intermittent fasting. She's in great shape. When she travels she sticks to IF, but she does indulge in dfferent food, too. Dh is doing more keto. He still has carbs, but much less. He's focused on protein and veggies. I hope that your dh finds something that works for him, so that he can get his hernia repaired, soon, because it is not fun. bc2ca , I'm knitting, too. Have fun.
Delta Dawn, you seem happier lately. I'm happy for you.

we had a light breakfast at home, then had brunch out.. then walked around paia on maui and spent money. found matching dress and hawaiian shirt, I bought a new hawaiian shirt, shopped the thrift store (too bad I'm not going to a 70's dress up--saw the perfect garish dress.. so bad). I bought a tutu there for spring skiing carnival. then several other shirts.
hanging around this afternoon reading.
we probably will walk into town again tonight and go out for middle eastern food. then we might go back into town early tomorrow and watch the 49'er game at 8 am.

Hi all, I don’t know what we’ll decide on for dinner, but I wanted to say that our afternoon snack today (we’re at a hotel that caters some of our meals and daily snacks and desserts) was called Ballpark Break. We had mini corn dogs, big soft pretzels, peanuts, pop corn, and lemonade. There was ketchup and three kinds of mustard. I’ve never had a corn dog before because they always sound disgusting, but these were admittedly delicious. I skipped everything else besides the lemonade. The pretzels were a big hit, though. I have made some really cute cards this weekend.

A friend of DSO gave him a Stay & Dine package at a local winery for his 50th birthday (two and a half years ago!) that was due to expire in February. It cost over $600 so we definitely didn't want to let it expire. We finally got around to booking a night there, which was last night. Friends came up and met us there for afternoon drinks and dinner. The meal was nice, we had three starters, two mains, and a dessert to share. We also got a lovely breakfast this morning. The best part though, was the view from our bedroom window this morning - we opened the shutters and were greeted with this beautiful view over the grounds, with the vineyards and then the mountains in the distance. Imagine waking up to that every morning! cadoodlebug your photo is gorgeous too! I love the contrast of the flaming red leaves against the very blue sky - just stunning!

There is no mood to post. I do believe the line in the sand was drawn today for H and I. I overheard a convo with him and his best friend. I believe our marriage may be a casualty of this election.
I'm having the veggie soup reheated. He can choke.

naby64 I’m sorry that’s tough to swallow. leannec I hope you went to urgent care AussieMeg what a nice gift. That view is beautiful. Is your mil still making dinners or have I missed those posts? Finished day 1 of my champleve enamel workshop. I met such nice people. I had a bad attitude about it but I’m really liking it so far. Still pissed at dh but I’ll live. Dinner was veggie pizza.
