DN and her DH are at home in Craig, AK. Still no word on whether she can go back to work or other details. When you are on the fringe, sometimes you wait out of courtesy to hear other information.

Great news for DN!!! Her liver enzyme numbers responded very well to medication. Cholestasis of pregnancy is not usual until the third trimester, and they wanted to make sure there was not an underlying condition for DN. When they called her last week they were surprised she was at work with the numbers as high as they were. She is allowed to go back to work as the only music teacher in her town of 1,400 grades K-12. Weekly lab checks, and bimonthly follow-ups with OB and liver doctor in Ketchikan. Only a hour drive and three hour ferry ride away for her.
They are extremely happy to be home!
