My niece is curious what type of mushroom this is and I had no clue. Do any Peas know about mushroom? Im thinking Coltricia perennis but am not sure. Edited to add: I never think of using Google lens and apps for this type of stuff. Ugh! Thank you for helping me identify it!

My “Picture This” app gave me this info:
The ganodermataceae family is a large family of fungi, first circumscribed in 1948 by Marinus Anton Donk. Members of this family can be found worldwide, but are most extensively found in tropical climates where they typically grow parasitically on wood. Fungi in this family have a thick and tough texture.
