Trump is directly responsible for the insurrection and the costs of Jan 6. How are the Democrats responsible for the Black Lives Matter protests? The majority of them were peaceful. Did you forget who was in charge the summer of 2020?

The dems are responsible for those riots because it wasn’t the reps who incited them, defunded the police and provided bail funds were donated by the millions. Even kalama urged donating for that. Trump tweeted for a peaceful protest in a tweet that was removed soon after tweeting it. Nancy pilosi could have called the national guard but she didn’t. |

Despite what the Republicans and conservative media are saying, Trump did not call up the National Guard even though he had the authority. Pelosi does not have that authority. She and McConnell shared the same role in terms of security so any responsibility that she had falls equally on McConnell, too. She did call the Pentagon requesting help. Talk about blaming the victim - she was one of the targets of the insurrectionists.
