Meadows wanted his case transferred to federal court so that when he's convicted Trump can pardon him. Trump can't pardon a conviction from the state of Georgia (nor his own conviction from the state of NY).

Thanks MergeI can only hope it goes forward. And.... It can go on asap. No restrictions about someone being in office .. Holding while the decide if Willis can stay on as prosecutor.

If Meadows is convicted and he appeals, does it go to the Supreme Court? If the conservative justices get to ultimately decide, I'm sure they will give him immunity just like Trump.

You can appeal a conviction in State Court to the State's highest court. Then you can appeal to SCOTUS. However, SCOTUS only has jurisdiction if a federal issue is involved and they don't have to take the case. They don't take many of these cases.
