My hubby and are going to Sedona, Arizona this weekend. Any great restaurants, we’re staying near downtown. We like to try local and stay away from the chain restaurants. Anything we should do while we’re there. We’ve got someday trips booked. Thanks

It’s a lovely town. Unfortunately I don’t remember where we ate. I do remember there was a popular pizza restaurant we took the kids to but don’t recall the name but since you are not with kids it probably doesn’t matter. I’m no help, sorry!

my DH and I spent a very long weekend there for our honeymoon... it's gorgeous! the shops on the main street are somewhat touristy, but the atmosphere overall is nice, and you can find some unique gifts and decorating items. IIRC we ate at a Mexican restaurant called the Javelina Cantina, just off the main drag. It was pretty good, and the views over the entire area from the restaurant are wonderful. We took a short Pink Jeep tour, to see some of the countryside- the views of the red rocks and countryside were breathtaking, and the history lesson we got during the tour was great, too. Tlaquepaque Village shopping plaza is a memorable area- a cobblestoned, walled plaza that feels like a Mexican town... fun unique shops, and the best atmosphere. Cream and Cake Couture is a bakery in Tlaquepaque-- we bought ourselves a flourless chocolate cake (as a wedding cake) that was one of the best things I've eaten. (I think the baker had competed on Food Network's Cupcake Wars.) Had to buy a cake that had frosting cacti on it, of course!! I think we had pizza at this place: Sedona Pizza and Pasta

Does anyone else immediately start singing Sedona by Houndmouth anytime you see or hear it? 😄
I hope you get some great information. While I have been to Arizona I have not been to Sedona but would love to. I will be paying attention to the recommendations given here.

The Coffee Pot is a great breakfast place with seriously loads of different omelet options. A fancier restaurant is Tii Gavo. Wildflower is a bakery sandwich kind of place that has always been a winner.
Hope this helps.

We were given recommendations to the Cowboy Club Grill. We ate outside there and it was very good!

The airport has a nice restaurant and the views are fabulous! It’s on top of a Mesa.

You could try and get reservations (or a last minute cancellation) at Elote Cafe. We weren't able to, but enjoyed some other restaurants. I remember The Vault being a good one. If you like wine, we enjoyed the tasting room at Winery 1912 and the views were beautiful!
We did the Devil's Bridge trail which--I won't lie--was a little scary, but I'm glad I did it and was an overall enjoyable hike. The trolley is fun and a good way to see some of the main sights (I agree that the airport and another mesa nearby are worth visiting for the views. Definitely go for a sunset!). Oak Creek Canyon is fun to explore--we even saw snow in October, which is funny because Sedona was so warm. Chapel of the Holy Cross is a cool church that's literally built into the side of the rock and worth seeing.
For shopping, the Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village is a must see. I also really liked the quirky Son Silver West store.
Have a great time! Sedona is one of the most beautiful and serene places I've ever experienced.
