I'm annoyed at my immersion blenders. The one I have now is a Bella. Never heard of it but I bought it because someone on Facebook linked it and it's bright red. However, I'm here to tell you that color alone should not be the reason to buy any appliance. I've noticed it hasn't been working well lately, and I just made applesauce that has apple chunks in it even after blending. I do not like apple chunks in my applesauce. ick. The one I had before this one only lasted for maybe a year, then it just burned out one day. I don't remember what brand that was. So if you have an immersion blender that you've had for a long time and that will purée things like applesauce and soups can you please tell me what it is? Time to retire my lovely-red-but-not-so-great-at-blending Bella.

I have a Kitchen Aid immersion blender and it works very well. We make salsa and am able to put huge chunks of onions and peppers in the stock pot, then blend to a pretty smooth puree.
It has a whip attachment and something for drinks, but I've never used those.
I see Bella small appliances for like $5 and $10 on Black Friday quite often, guessing they're all pretty low quality?

I have a Breville one and want to say I like it but have only know two usages in its existence. It has done a good job for making butternut squash soup.
I had a Bamix before that. We had a Braun Multipractic before that.
I don’t need an immersion blender yet they keep showing up.

I bought this one 6 years ago and I have zero complaints! I mainly use it to puree soups. It's powerful! It's either the KA or Cuisinart. It's a pretty aqua color. I don't use it much but when I do I love it.

Kitchenaid. Also red. It's at least 20 years old and still going strong.

Cuisinart Smart Stick Variable Speed. It came with accessories including a mixing/measuring cup, whisk and chopper/grinder. It’s stainless steel and cleans up easily. I’ve had it for several years.

I have a Cuisinart one with a bunch of different attachments that I don't use a ton. I use it when making faux refried beans, applesauce, and tomato sauce. I have had it for a while and it is easy to use and easy to clean.

We've had the Amazon Basics brand one for 4 years and it does the job.

We replaced our super old Braun hand blender several years ago with a Cuisinart from Costco. Then several months ago it leaked motor oil all over something I was mixing. We replaced that with one from Amazon Basics and I like it a lot more than the Cuisinart.

I have a pale pink Cuisinart. It has two speeds, high and low. It comes apart in two pieces, so you can chuck the dirty part in the dishwasher. I use it all the time to make smoothies, soup, etc. I bought it on sale years ago for $20. Works great, no issues. Looks like a similar one goes for around $50 now.

Thanks everyone. I put several of your recommendations in my Amazon cart, waiting to see if there are any Black Friday deals before I order.

I have a couple variable speed Cuisinart immersion blenders that I got from Woot. LOVE them. I have one at home and one at the lake cabin. The one I have at home has all the extra attachments like the food processor bowl and the whisk. Works great!

I have a Do-It-All that I bought off home shopping (QVC or HSN--can't remember) when my youngest was a baby (he's 33 now). I use it when making soups, whipped cream, and quickie shakes--still works great.

I had a Cuisinart for a long time and its fine-does the job ok. I upgraded to a Vitamix immersion blender and man, I love it. It is more expensive than a Cuisinart for sure but it is a really really good immersion blender.

I need to use my Breville tonight. I have never used it before so I am quite excited. I am making mac n cheese and need to emulsify the sauce.

I have a Bamix one. I've had it for about 20 years. Mom bought it for me at a home and garden show. It's my 2nd most used appliance (vern my vitamin is 1sr).
