I'm in the 2Peas Holiday card exchange. And I also mail cards to family and friends who aren't close to where I live. I just got my Cricut Mats on Thursday. When I saw Amazon was sending through Canada Post, I crossed my fingers. I was hoping they'd be using Dragonfly for just in case. I still have a lot of cards to make so at least I got my knock off Cricut Mats. I hope that your card making and sharing plans aren’t ruined. Hopefully the strike doesn’t last long. My husband said he'd drive to the USA and mail them. We are 25 minutes away from a crossing boarder and he has a passport because of work. I don't have a passport so he'll have to go on his own. Said he can do some shopping so not a bit deal. We are going to wait to see how long this strike goes begore deciding.

They're always striking before Christmas. I signed up for a tag swap on another site, and my buddy lives in Canada. What is the alternative to mailing it to her, can I us UPS? Yes, we have UPS and FedEx. We also have DHL, but that might get handed over to Canada Post. Thanks - I went to the UPS store and they said they aren't shipping to Canada either as a lot of their packages get handed over to Candian Post. They would have taken the package and it would be held 'somewhere'. I decided to wait until the strike is over, luckily my swap partner was ok with that. She had already mailed mine but wasn't sure if it made it out before the strike.

As someone who lives in a rural area this is a big issue for me. I've been avoiding any online shopping because the shipping costs are so high with other carriers. Plus we just renewed dh's permanent ressident card and yup it's somewhere in the mail. Who knows when we'll get it 🙄
