In the days after Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Shklyarov was quoted as speaking out in support of peace.
Unrelated tidbit--I actually did a term paper on Russian Ballet in Jr High. We also had to incorporate it in art class (I couldn't draw anything).
So my art teacher drew a ballerina and in all mycreativity, plagerism I TRACED it! Got an A in art.
