I wonder if he's still planning to run for governor. DeSantis terms out in 2 years, although some pundits are saying he may nominate himself for Rubio's Senate seat. If that happens, the current Lieutenant Governor, Jeannette Nunez will become Governor and Florida will need a new LG. She'd be Florida's first female governor - she's currently the first Hispanic female LG for the state.

DH (non-Trump republican) can't stand Gaetz, and DH has devil's advocate syndrome and will defend anyone with an R next to their name because "the democrats blah blah blah!" (Yeah, and I'm still married to him...) Anyway, even DH has no words of defense for Gaetz, which says something.
