…what do you do with your wet towel?
We just moved offices to a building with a gym. I live (one a good day) 35 minutes away from work. I’m trying to figure out what I would do with a wet towel the rest of the day. No lockers.
I live in Indiana so I guess in most months I could take it to my car and crack the window for ventilation but not during the winter.
Do you just have those towels that dry quickly (drawing a blank on the type)?
Thanks!

When I used to work out at lunch, I would just lay out my towel in the trunk. Can you put yours in your cubicle/office somewhere? Even just drape it over your gym bag?
I don’t know the name, but you are thinking of those towels that swimmers use, sort of like a chamois.

I always wondered about carrying the work clothing to the gym along with make up, accessories etc. It seemed like a lot of trouble--I'd rather walk in my 'hood or on a treadmill, dress at home and to to work. I did that for 20+ years (walked 2 miles at home then showered/dressed and went to work).
In your case, I think the drying the towel in the car in hot weather will work, and perhaps hang the wet towel over a hanger and hang it in the window during winter. Or, accept that you will need a new towel every day--and just have a plastic bag to stuff the wet towel into and take it home.

Are microfiber towels the kind that dry quickly?

Do you have your own office? In a cubicle?
If your own office can you get a towel rack behind the door and hang it? Or do that in your cubicle if able?
Towel warmer? It would dry it.
Or a command hook and hang the towel in a spot no one can see in your office space?

I’m not so concerned about using a new towel every time as much as what do I do with a wet towel all day. I don’t want my car to smell musty.
I have a small cubicle that I’m already using all available under desk space. And I’m not going to hang a wet towel in there. No one else needs to see / smell that.
I’m trying it tomorrow maybe. I’m not a morning person so we shall see. It is also a LOT to pack. I just am not getting home until 7:30 or so and with it being dark it feels SO late. Figured I’d try it at least once.

If there are no lockers, what do you do with your stuff while you work out?

My gym supplies towels, body wash, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, hairdryers and straighteners so I don’t have to take a much at all.

Why cant you just put in a bag and take it home . You can switch it out with a fresh one every day?
