Regarding that meme above about putting in-laws on the edge of group photos....my ex ended up on the edge of most photos.
One day my sister and I went through and cut him out of all the photos at my mother's house. Mom got angry about that even though she didn't like him.

I would re-print the photos. Your dd is going through a breakup and those are hard enough. I'm sorry that she's hurting and I hope that she will heal well and know how worthy she is of great love.

I would have them reprinted. That's not a good memory to share.

ORRR - hear me out
Print a picture the same size on sticker paper and cover over that picture with the sticker picture.

Put a red X over his face LOL - Just kidding, I would toss them and reorder. A friend of mine got divorced and when she sent out her Christmas cards she signed her name and her Ex's name and then crossed out his name with a red X. All of her friends got a good laugh, but your situation is a bit different!

I'm leaning towards just reordering them. It's really too bad, they seemed like a good couple. She is doing ok, the 1st day home for tday she was very sad, yesterday she was better.

I would just buy a box of pretty cards and send those. If your tradition is sending photo cards and anyone questions it I would just say that time got away from you this year.

ORRR - hear me out Print a picture the same size on sticker paper and cover over that picture with the sticker picture. THIS is exactly how I would fix the problem, unless it’s a big 4x6 photo on the front of the card. If it’s just one of those small photos in a collage, you could either print a sticker photo of just her that’s the same size, or even just a greeting or holiday image that coordinates with the rest of the card.

I’d vote for reordering them, or just not sending them out.

No way would I send them out. Either of my kids would be really upset - of course people aren't looking at them closely, but I'd reorder for my daughter's sake. I'm not crafty enough to attempt the sticker cover, but if you can pull that off it's a great solution!
