Cornhole but no Ultimate frisbee? Dumb. Ultimate is the youth sport with the most growth in the country. Given eight sports that coordinate with existing Page Pieces were released along with two new sports (i.e. cornhole & pickleball), perhaps a future release will include the remaining eight sports with existing Page Pieces ( cheer, dance, lacrosse, tennis, track/field, tumbling, volleyball, & wrestling) plus two new sports, including utimate frisbee.

Anyone know how many papers come in the small sports kits? Per the description, each mini collection includes 6 papers (2 each of 3 designs) plus a 12x12 cardstock sticker sheet. HTH.

I'm disappointed yet again with Simple Stories. Winnie the Pooh again? ... IIRC, despite a decade of Say Cheese collections, this is the first Winnie the Pooh-themed line from Simple Stories.

Nothing there for me. But it did make me look up cornhole. I’ve never heard of that before. The widely popular lawn/tailgate game is also known in the US as bean bag toss, sack toss, tailgate toss, bean bags, bags, bag-o, soft horseshoes, etc. ESPN (sports network) airs cornhole tournaments during the summer.

Yes, but Echo Park Paper lines were released before theirs. So nothing new or creative in their new collections IMO.

The only ones I can see me buying are the Cornhole and maybe the Golf line (my husband used to play a lot). Thanks for showing us PaperAngel.

I’ll pick up the golf one. Looks like the existing collection but whatever.
Likely get some of the cornhole for some pics of playing in our yard

I'm glad I have more than enough baseball to get me through DS's last 2 seasons because I don't care for the baseball line. I would like some it for some of our visits to our local AAA team's games, but I can't imagine needed more baseball stuff for a long time after finishing DS's seasons!
I like the golf and can see getting some of the cornhole papers. I do like the football and might get some because DS's HS colors included green.
Need some bowling for my other DS who is on the bowling team at school!

IIRC, despite a decade of Say Cheese collections, this is the first Winnie the Pooh-themed line from Simple Stories. Yes, but Echo Park Paper lines were released before theirs. So nothing new or creative in their new collections IMO. Not trying to be argumentative. I can certainly see the similarities between the 2 collections and recognize that this line might not be appealing. Also, I'm a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh, so I'm probably not very objective. But, I do see subtle differences between the collections. I think SS in general does a better job with embellishments. I love the journaling bits, they have a lot more icons and fewer repeated images among chipboard, stickers, die cuts etc. EP embellishments tend to be filled with words and repetitive. The SS collection is more floral, cream based and a slightly different color scheme with pink and 2 shades of blue (a soft navy & light aqua). Between the pink and the florals, to me, the SS line has a softer, more feminine feel. The EP collections have a brighter red and a lot of light blue & yellow. The SS embellishments have more characters and icons. SS has a lot of silhouettes and black and white drawings or illustrations, too. My only criticism of the SS collection and it's very minor - Rabbit looks a little weird in that grey/ blue color.

I'm glad the collection fills a hole in the market. 😊

Thanks for your responses. Like infochick, I like the multi-color diagonal plaid (reverse of One Big Adventure) in Say Cheese - Classic Pooh to use on a non-Pooh/Disney layout(s), plus select - mostly non-themed - papers from the sports collections.

I'll likely get the soccer & swim. I prefer to spread out heavily themed kits over several layouts, using just bits or elements here and there.

Where's the Brazilian jiu-jitsu collection? Or anything martial-arts themed?
I'm kidding -- sort of. But, seriously, I just checked SEMrush data, and there are 246,000 people per month searching Google for "jiu jitsu," and only 60,500 per month searching for "Cornhole."

I *just* finished making a layout with the softball simple set and was surprised with how much I enjoyed it. Between the page set pieces and the sticker sheet it was enough product to embellish and not have a ton leftover of something I doubt I will have a second use for. So those topics appearing in the smaller simple set formula I am really liking.
At first I was stumped with how to use the Pooh line but I just printed photos of my kids as toddlers together and I decided to lean into the "together" theme and maybe pull out the characters vs the florals.
