1. Does the machine always have to be "plugged in" to a computer? Any wireless capability?
2. If you can use a jump drive and/or SD card, you can only cut exactly what you save to it, correct? You can't plug it into machine and then make adjustments (like size, for example or only select certain letters)?

1. Yes, it needs to be plugged in if printing from the software. No wireless.
2. I believe you are correct.

1. Wireless is not a great option for cutters anyway. Too big a chance for the data to go haywire.
2. Original Cameo has SD card slot. New Cameo2 has USB slot. Basically exact same machine, but Cameo2 has touch screen instead of buttons to load mat, etc, and has USB port instead of SD card slot. If I were buying today, I would get the Cameo2
