I'm 57 and was in the hospital this past week with life threateningly low hemoglobin levels!  My number was 56 when a normal level is 100 ... They ran tests over the course of three days and could not find bleeding anywhere!  It's unexplained ... Getting old sucks!  That's my 3 am vent! |

I am 74 and I currently have not 1 but 2 bright red zits on my face. Come on, I'm not 13 any more. I thought I had outgrown that stage.

I will validate you. I also just had a zit, and I am older than you. And I have never had a problem with acne. Weird. 🤷♀️ |

I'm wondering if you changed up your diet at all? I did a plant based diet all summer. About week 4 my skin went nuts. But everything settled down and I had to change my moisturizer because my skin was so much less dry. My psoriasis went away too.
Now I had decided the holiday time I wasn't going to worry about what I'm eating. And? The acne is back. The psoriasis is coming back. And dry skin reigns. I have a big zit on my chin.
I didn't realize how much impact food has on us. After the holidays I am going back to a plant based diet.

I am that age, and I have very oily skin yet! My dad had the same! Less wrinkles, but the occasional zit. Those clear little patches really do work wonders.
I always laugh at my 'swarthy Irish skin' (I also have the giant Irish head). Dark eyes, curly light brown hair and oily skin. But my known ancestry is Irish, Dutch and German.

I’m 51. I had a dermatologist appointment recently and got a huge zit on my nose the night before, only it wasn’t a zit, it was rosacea.

I’ll see your zit and raise you 2-3 coarse “goat hairs” that keep coming back time after time in the exact same spots no matter how many times I pluck the damn things out. So many times that now those places have scar tissue which makes it even harder to get them when they ultimately come back yet again. And now they’re coming in white which makes them even harder to find when they do poke through. I’m so over it.

I have to say I consider myself very lucky. Several times I have had a random zit here and there, but never anything I actually had to go out and buy any solution for. Even in my teens! I wouldn't even consider myself having good skin, but zit-wise, I guess I do.

I’m 71 and my doctor just prescribed some teenager med for me, to handle the “acne-like rash” (looks like flat-out normal zits to me) caused by my chemo. But let’s be honest, it’s not like I haven’t seen a naturally-occurring zit (or a dozen) in the last 50 years or so. grrrrr

I had a dental appointment Monday and woke up to not only a sizeable pimple on my neck, of all places, but also one right on the top of my already quite noticeable nose.  I wasn't pleased! |

I have the eyebrows of a very elderly man made worse by the fact that my eyebrows never fully came back after chemo. So now they are sparse with a few thick white bushy old man hairs. |

I have wonderful skin on my face ... genetics ... I am 57 and no wrinkles or pimples ever! However, during and following living in my former home during renovations that included all types of airborn particles and smells I developed a rash on my back that I have just recently got under control more than THREE YEARS LATER! I don't even live there anymore and haven't for two years! My back will never be the same!  |

Oh yes, the random zits and hairs on the face! How about a wart or two? I thought they were zits, one on each side of my face along my upper jawbone. Going at the end of the month to have them removed, though one is odd shaped so it will be biopsied. Thanks old body.

I don’t wear makeup on even an annual basis, barely go for haircuts and don’t give a rip about wearing fashionable clothes. But I’m not gonna lie, I go over my chin and jowls with a magnifying glass to pluck out those damn hairs the second they start poking through the skin. I can FEEL them and it drives me insane! So when I happen to miss one and notice it when it’s like 1/4” to 1/2” long, I go off on my teenage kid with good eyesight saying, “It is literally YOUR JOB to make sure I don’t leave the house with a long freaking hair like that coming out of my face!” We have a friend at the lake who is a couple years younger than me, and there have been times when I’d see her with practically a full on goatee she had so many LONG chin hairs. I was like, HOW can you not care about that and how can it not bug you to insanity?! If mine get that bad I’m forking out the money for laser, no lie. |

I have a couple of those too but they seem to take longer to come back. But once they do I can FEEL that they are thicker than the normal ones and I can’t stand it. So even though my eyebrows are turning white and nearly invisible, if one of those thick ones pops up it’s gotta GO. |
