I want a rotary trimmer. I have a slide style that I love but they are limited thicknesswise (that is not a word).
Do you have a rotary style that you love? Will you share your thoughts on it? It must be accurate and not need blade replacements every other time you use it. Remember I hate ragged edges.
I have two in mind both of which are expensive but I am open to suggestions.
UPDATE: I got to play with my new Cutterpillar this morning and so far I am loving it. Thanks so much Kat for all you did for me.

I have a Gensis and love it! The cut is very accurate. Yes, it's expensive.
You can get on a waiting list, then decide when they contact you if you want it or not.

On Bonnie's Best site it says to email them to get on their list. I have the 16" with edge light. I wouldn't trade it for the world!! Here is a link: Gensis Trimmer

I had a Fiskars rotary cutter for years. Alas, due largely to operator error, I could never seem to get a straight cut with it.
I moved to a blade trimmer and have never looked back.
Having said that, the Gensis does look awesome!

I would love a Genesis but about a year ago I emailed to be on their list but have not heard anything from them. I am not really an instant gratification type but I do have my limits and a year is over that limit. I am in Canada so maybe that's the problem. So I am looking for something that I can look forward to getting in reasonable time.

I've heard the Genesis cutters are the absolute best. I hope you can find one soon, oldcrow!

I have the Fiskars LED SureCut and have been very happy. I don't know what this Genesis is, but I'm going to have to find out!

I decided to get a Cutterpillar right now. I don't know what is going to happen to the Canadian dollar over the next while so to be on a wait list is not the best idea.
If I could have gotten it last year it would have been fine but when you are looking at a large sum of money and then have add exchange it really hurts. Even now the rate is pretty high but there is talk that it will get worse.

I tried a Genesis cutter at a friend's house a few years ago, and really did not like it. I got a ragged cut.
I have been using a Stampin' Up guillotine cutter for years and love it. It gets fairly heavy usage and is still sharp as ever with sliver-thin cuts. They no longer make it, but I'm told that the Fiskars' guillotine cutter is the same item.
I still have my Fiskars slider style cutter but no longer use it.

I have a regular Fiskars trimmer. It's not great but it works and I'm not in the market to pay $100 for a new trimmer. Looks awesome though!

My new cutter has given my mojo a badly needed boost. I actually made a card this morning. It's a Christmas card but I so love making all things to do with Christmas.
