Lately my hair feels so dry and tangly on the ends. It doesn't look bad but drives me crazy when I run my hands through it. I am getting a hair cut soon, which will help (couldn't get in until January) but am looking for recommendations on products to help with dry hair in the winter. My roots still get oily on day 2 so I usually only use conditioners (rinse out and leave in) on the ends. Do you have any products that you love?

I use moroccan oil on my ends year around, but I think it does a great job in the winter specifically.

I have a trial size of moroccan oil that I use occasionally but will try using it more often. For those who use it, do you use it on wet hair? Or just dry? I usually use it after styling but maybe it would be good to use on wet hair?

A little goes a long way.

What helps keep my hair in better condition is not washing it every day. I started out only washing my hair every other day. I gradually increased to only washing my hair every 3rd or 4th day. It wasn't easy, but my hair is better and I'm saving time not doing the whole hair thing every day. I also get regular haircuts/trims.

My hair is bleached and I bought a new Olaplex leave in conditioner with a pump of hair oil. I also have bougie leave in conditioner from Kevin Murphy. I like it too.

I have 2 hair oils. One is Olaplex and the other is Joico and something else, too. I am loving hair oil for frizzies.

Olaplex #7 Bonding Oil or Verb Ghost Oil. I use it on dry, clean, styled hair - just before applying hairspray. Ends only, but depending how dry my hair is, I may take the residue and pat or smooth it over the last 1/3 of my hair.
My hairstylist told me to be careful with any oil that is darker in color if you have light colored hair. While I do have colored brown hair, my highlights are blonde and it will darken your hair if you apply too much and you might not like the look.
Oh and for a budget, friendly in shower product, I can recommend Trader Joe’s Shea Butter & Coconut Oil Hair Mask. Lower 1/3 or ends only. Left on for a very short while (1-3 min is way too long for me) and rinse rinse rinse.

I recently figured out that I have high porosity hair. I have fine thin hair, but shockingly my hair loves heavier products. Pureology hydrate, Moroccan oil, styling creams and lotions. Amika masks are also great!
