What scrapbook/crafty projects are you planning to do in 2025? Are you leaving anything you have done before behind? Adding something new?
I am going to continue project life. It’s my favorite project. I’ll do the same as last year- a 12x12 with one “side” (one 12x12 page) per week. I really like the whole year to be contained in one album. I can add in inserts or do a whole 12x12 spread if the week calls for it. I did a few of those last year and a number of inserts and it still all fits comfortably.
I am going to do December daily again- it’s a fun break from pockets and doing more crafty things.
I am going to do WITL - but not an album. I am just going to add an extra page or two to my PL for it. I love the idea of the project and looking at it but it gets repetitive to put together and I don’t enjoy it as much. I still haven’t finished 2024 Week in the Life.
I wasn’t going to do OLW (only did it in 2023) but I decided to do a 3x8 to keep it manageable.
That’s it for me.

After making this year a year of stepping back + only working on finishing previous years projects, I am excited to start my current documenting again.
Project Life -- I am ready to do this again. I did plan ahead and ordered all of SC 2024's documenting kits as well as all of Ali's SOTM kits so I have those ready to go. Because it's just DH and I at home now, my album will be thinner and Im ok with that. I've also toyed with the idea of going back and doing a 2024 album as I work on 2025. The jury is still out on that, though.
December Daily -- Im doing that for sure. As of right now, Im thinking a smaller album for next year, but we will see once the new product comes out.
DITL/WITL - probably wont attempt at all unless I absolutely love the kits (which has not been the case in the past few years). Pretty sure I wont bother.
OLW - 6x8 album like always.

I'll be doing regular 12x12 layouts, 9x12 monthly Project Life, 6x8 December Daily, and catching up on my Travel albums.

I have not scrapbooked in over 10 years but I decided to do my version of OLW so I ordered a 6x8 album and some page protectors. I'll be honest, I saw a reel of Ali Edwards December Daily album and man I just love her style. I watched a few of her OLW yearly recaps and decided to dip my toe back in to scrapbooking. We'll see if it sticks. I even logged in to Silhouette Studio for the first time since 2020. I have an original Cameo so hopefully it still works. I'm trying not to put too much pressure on myself. I have zero idea where to get pictures printed these days so this is definitely going to be a journey.

I'm hoping to keep going on filling in missing spreads from past project life albums and working on past travel albums. I'm not adding anything because I have plenty to keep me busy. I would really like to schedule time 2 days a week to create but that will require me to clear off my craft desk, which has become a dumping ground again. 🤦🏼♀️

I'll be scrapping two trips in one album. Out of state family visiting us and us visiting them. Besides that I don't have any planned projects. Just my continuing chronological scrapbooking.

My main focus for 2025 is getting half done projects finished (or deciding to trash them) and cleaning out/organizing photos. I was very sick for the first half of this year and realized I didn't want to leave a mess behind for someone else to deal with.
WITL and DD have been my most consistent projects and I'll absolutely continue with both next year. I almost didn't do WITL 2024 because it fell on a chemo week for me but for the last couple years the family have all participated, sending me random photos every day. They all wanted to do it this year and it was definitely a group effort and a little surreal to look back through it now that we are on the other side.
I go back and forth on some sort of daily/weekly project. Project Life was just too big/detailed for me to enjoy keeping up and I never found the right rhythm for a memory planner approach. I did start using a 5 Year Journal half way through the pandemic, so will be starting a fresh one in January. I absolutely love looking back at what was going on in the past years as I fill it out.
I have used TN to document other craft projects (knitting, embroidery and cross-stitch) and local exploring/hikes with DH and might add one to track exercise/health habits.

I'm going to really make an effort to finish my Project Life album in 2025. I know I say that every year, but next year will be different, I just know it! I WILL succeed! (Do you think if I keep talking myself up like that it will help? ) I have started putting my kit together. I also have four travel albums I really want to finish.

I am in the process of cleaning up my hoard of a craft room. I've got so many projects to finish or make decisions on whether to finish. I've not been scrapbooking in a few years and just making cards.
For example, not a complete list, (in various states of progress) I have: -My daughter's wedding from 2019 -Our cruise to Hawaii from 2017 -An album of all our pets -A mini album of our experience during the great Covid shutdown
We are taking a cruise in July so I hope to have it documented during this year!

You know, I need to finish my Alaska 2002 "old-time" 8-1/2 x 11 scrapbook. I really should make that my New Year's Resolution.

Start and finish high school albums for my twins by June 14th
Start and finish my daughter’s Dance album (12 years) by June 14.
Possibly start and finish an Ultimate album for my son. This may get dropped, he doesn’t care so much. Or I could include in his high school album.
Project Life - Not sure the format. Currently it’s 9x12, I might finish that size through summer when my kids are all at college. At some point I intend to switch to 6x8 and take more of a story approach.
WITL - slightly worried about fitting this in prior to grad parties. The year my daughter graduated Ali did the project in June. I was finished with my daughters party by then. Timing worked perfect.
December Daily
Daily creative journaling. Using an undated planner I wrote about my day and include stickers, stamping and an occasional photo. I’ve been doing this for a month and absolutely love it.

I will be doing monthly 9x12 PL. I will be doing traditional layouts in the same album, in a variety of sizes.
I will be doing OLW in a 9x12 album (multiple years in 1 album)
I will do DITL and WITL, in 6x8.
I am also going to be working my way through some old unfinished projects.
I am going to (try) to redo my closet space into a custom type closet for scrapbook storage. That will cause a down the rabbit hole reorganization of my entire space probably

I’ll continue to do 12x12 layouts. I’m toying with returning to YouTube.
I’ll be doing OLW in the 6x8 album and will do JYC come Christmas time again, probably 6x8 there as well.
I would really like to do WITL or DITL. I’ve never done it before but want to. We’ll see if 2025 is my year to start.

The only project I have for sure settled on is PL (weekly) I had decided that I want to do that version until my youngest graduated high school so I'm in it for another 2 years. Though I did cancel my SBTM kit...Canadian exchange and shipping is too much right now. And truth be told, I have a lot of product.
Undecided about WITL. This year was such a slog. I liked the products and completed the album but it felt like such a chore, which didn't inspire anything.
Most likely DD, because I love the project and looking back on those albums.

I plan to finish 2024 DD. That might be done by the end of this year. Not sure.
Then I have to do November and December in PL. I will only do one layout for each month instead of each week. And I had to buy the SBTM kit from AE to finish my sub so I will have some 2024 - 2025 stuff to fill up a last page so it won't be blank. We do a first day hike every year so I'll document that.
I won't do WITL as we will be moving.
I will start in June/July a Senior year album for my kid. I plan to go through my stash and pull together a kit of supplies for that. Since we will be moving I won't have access to everything so I want to do this in February when things are not so busy. I love going through my stash and pulling out the stuff.
100% DD. Hopefully it will be the first year in the new house.
In my project life this year, I documented the house reno and I'd like to continue that. I think I will just have some before and after photos at the end of the 2024 PL album.
All the demo is done and we're just moving forward (fingers crossed) so it shouldn't be too much.
I doubt we will do a big trip (again because of the move) but I went to Disney this Fall with two friends and I want to make an album for that.

WITL. Did it for the first time this year and really liked it. Will do it for a different month as April is a really atypical month for me (I think Ali Edwards does move the date around a bit?).
My holiday album from this year's hols.
A summary album from 2024. Kind of project life but compacted.
I would really like to do an autumn and Christmas album - not October / December daily but something a bit quicker and easier.
In an ideal world I'd finish off all of my albums which are 95% done :-)

What a great topic to put it “down on paper.”
PL- I will definitely continue my annual albums. Sorta PL, but more aptly described as chronological pocket pages with all sizes mixed in and some filler stuff for mood and fun. I’ve been doing 9x12 for sooooo long and have a bunch of page protectors. I usually do 2 albums a year (until 2018 I did three or four!) I’d like to continue with 9x12.
DD- it’s a given for me.
Travel- I usually do 2 or 3 per year. Usually a 6x8 or 2. 2024 was 2 (second one isn’t started lol trip was a few weeks ago and nearly a month long!) I’m trying to decide whether to do 2 6x8’s or do one 10x8. It’s on the back burner with DD on the front. I’ll likely tackle it in Feb or so. The photos are half edited- in the moment journaling done and printed. I’ll print the photos (batch printing at Persnickety) once I’m ready to send off my end of 2024, and DD photos. I usually do some reflective journaling while preparing my photos and when I get my physical photos back. I usually immediately pop them in the album with the notes when I get them.
WITL- I did it in 2024 for the first time. OMG what a brutal project. Interestingly though, I LOVED it. And I really am proud of the album. I used the 2024 WITL products, and didn’t even think I liked them, but wow- I love the way the whole thing came together and how much it actually captured of my actual life. I don’t know if I have it in my again. We’ll see how I feel when it comes up in 2025. Usually, I follow along with the community and include a little of it in my normal PL album, or if I happen to be on a trip a the time, there’s a little bit of that (or DITL) in my travel album documentation. We’ll see.
OLW… I’ve never done it before- but I do see the draw. I watched the video on the blog for this years team, and really think it is something I’m interested in. My “season” of life gives me a little more space for something like this, and I am considering it. I kinda think I want to try it product (album/notebook) free. Just following the prompts.

I'd like to finish my wedding album in 2025. I guess it's probably half done? I have 2 or 3 more pages to do in my 2023 DD, and we'll see how far I get towards completing my 2024 DD.
My 2025 OLW is "align" so I'm going to spend next week working on coming up with goals for many areas of my life, including scrapbooking, so while I've been thinking about trying to take more photos next year but being more intentional in not scrapping more photos, this might change after next week. As usual, if we take any trips next year, I will scrap those in a separate album + complete a DD album. I usually participate in taking photos during WITL but don't create a separate album.

Finish December albums (2019, 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024)
Travel albums (Sweden 2022, Iceland 2023, Iceland and Scotland 2024) - thinking of doing photo books instead of albums for these trips.
Keep up with monthly Project Life in a 9x12 Maybe share more of my crafting things on Instagram.

I skipped DD this year and I’m contemplating it for next year. I’m still deciding whether I want to do PL for 2025 or 12x12 traditional. I really prefer the creativity and art behind 12x12 but I end up missing some of the fun little details and having too many pages. So I’m not sure which route I’ll take yet.
I need to finish/catch up for my oldest DS book since he’ll be a senior next year and my goal is at graduation each child gets their book. So hopefully his and my second oldest since they are just a year apart.
I also want to fill some 6x8 albums I made in classes.

What if you did a 12x12 album with traditional pages and then a PL monthly recap at the end of the month to include all the little details (or some at least) missed in the regular layouts of the month? It would all be housed together and I think it would make a really cool album to look through.

Stay up to date with my memory planner. Finish up previous years. Start an 8 1/2 x 11 album for random pictures that pop up.
I am hoping I will be able to follow a new schedule for the new year and scrapbook for a couple of hours each day!!

I plan on getting photo printing caught up and keeping up with next year by printing at least monthly. I print at home so you'd think that would be easy enough to do.
I make page kits with photos and papers; I don't usually add embellishments unless it's something that I purchased specifically for a page.
I've been working on older years to get caught up and have fallen behind with current years so I might be dual scrapping next year to catch up and keep up.
I've been thinking about rearranging my craft space but I know it's going to be a big project and really shouldn't get into it at the beginning of the year. But then again, if I don't it'll keep bugging me.

I feel like I miss out on using some of the supplies with PL if I don't have other pages mixed in. Since I'm behind I've been catching up using PL style, but some of the photos that are my favorites or an event I'm making pages.
