Ummmm, is my post really blank to anyone else? My work computer is wonky, and I can't see what I just wrote, nor can I go back and see it as it was written.
In case it really is blank, what I was saying was that I, too, like tracys, record movies that I already own on DVD so that I don't have to get up and put the DVD in. I'm glad I'm not the only one, because my dh and dd make fun of me for it.

My husband does this... drives me bonkers.... why fill up the dvr when I need space for actual shows!!! We own the freaking movie... also he records games as he is watching them to save n watch again later... we have 2 spurs/heat games STILL recorded... I need space for my stuff... that I delete as soon as I watch...

We rarely if ever watch non-kid movies on DVD (I can't remember the last time we bought one-probably years!)
I have a few kids' movies on DVR and DVD because we keep the kids' DVDs in the car.

I do this all the time because our Blu-Ray player is a pain in the butt. It takes forever to load a disc and get to the actual paying of the movie. Also, it does not play nice with non-blu-ray videos. The DVR is just so convenient.
